Chapter 9 - Battle against a Pro hero

Izuku POV

"Pheewwww!" I sigh in my apartment. "What a night! I almost died 3 times!" I say to myself. "God damn it Stain, now people think I'm your successor." I continue, "Oh well, a little more popularity doesn't hurt much. Let's see how things are on TV."

"NEWS FLASH: STAIN'S SUCCESSOR? In the red night incident of Hosu, a new appearance has happened. A vigilante by the name of Red crown may be Stain's successor, as Stain stated in his final speech. Many people were also rescued by Red crown, as they will testify here" the news reporter said. I look at the screen to see the parents of those kids I rescued, "He saved my child! I don't know how to thank him! I lost all hope when I realized he wasn't with us on the road, then when I looked back I saw him there! In Red crown's arms! I couldn't bel-" I turned the TV off, I heard enough.

-A week passes-

I've now made quite a name for myself, as I left behind 126 villains and 36 heroes. Most of them were only in the business for the money and beat criminals far more than they should have.

I'm on my nightly patrol before a grey tape is approaching me rapidly. I jump back to see a black figure coming at me, I get out a knife as I saw who was in front of me.

"Pro hero, Erasure Hero: Eraser Head, Real name: Shota Aizawa, Quirk: Erasure," I say.

"I see the rumors were right about you knowing everything Red crown," he replied.

"Enough with rumors, I don't wish to fight you Eraser Head," I said. "Why would I stop against a vigilante who's taken out over 30 heroes!?!" he replied rather loudly.

"Don't mistake me as a villain Eraser Head, I've never killed someone and I only take out the heroes that are unfit for their title," I said.

Aizawa POV

I'm so confused at how he saw my capture weapon in complete darkness, and even if I used my quirk, he isn't less fast than the reports made him be. Crossing out the possibility of an agility quirk at least, does that mean it's telekinesis.

"Don't mistake me as a villain Eraser Head, I've never killed someone and I only take out the heroes that are unfit for their title," he replied.

That made me notice something, in all cases that are connected to Red crown, there never was a murder case. Petty crimes were just tied up, rapists and murderers were beaten, and heroes were also beaten, but he never killed anyone.

"What makes someone fit to be a hero then?" I asked loudly as I still tried to capture him.

"Ever looked into the finance history of Aquathunder? He had profit sources from unknown origins, a little investigation and you find someone who covered for drug dealers," he said. "Ever observed Castletown? He never goes into any engagement with a villain, yet proclaimed he was a villain-fighting hero," he finished. "These are the kinds of heroes I look into and attack, which also make me learn a lot of things."

I ignore what he says for now and launch my strongest attack where I deny all exits and completely ensnare him. "Got you" I mumbled until something I couldn't believe happened, as the capture scarf approached him it got cut into pieces. Power loader said no knife on earth could easily cut through it, and yet Red crown just cut through it instantly.

"I must be dreaming," I said, "Dream a little bit longer, but you know how this is going to end" he replied.

I pull my scarf back and the front is sliced to bits, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I looked back at Red crown but he was gone, I just saw the end bits of his black and red scarf flying down.

What did he do? I was sure I erased his quirk, does that mean he did that with his own 2 hands? "This is going to be a problem..." I thought to myself.
