Chapter 3 - Ignorance

Todoroki POV

*Groan* I woke up later than usual today. I guess that late-night shopping spree took its toll.

I get up, take care of all my usual morning routine and head downstairs. As I stepped into the living area, I saw Ochaco letting out a big yawn as she came down. Seems that it also took a toll on her too, oh well school starts later today so it doesn't matter.

As I look around I see someone missing, I scratch my back and casually ask the rest of my classmates that seem to be confused about something.

"Guys, where is Izuku?"

Tenya POV

Oh no, I see that Todoroki got up later, as Aizawa said. Well, now it's just a matter of showing him the footage. Oh and Ochaco is here as well which will make things faster.

"Izuku is in jail"

"What?" "What?" they both said. With open eyes clearly in shock.

"Izuku was taken into custody just a few hours ago."

"WHAAAAT!?!?" screamed Ochaco. "He was caught stealing documents from the records section last night," I responded. I then turn on the TV and put in the disk with the security footage.

As I turned the TV on, both Shoto and Ochaco paid more attention than any class I have ever seen them in. The recording plays and you can see Izuku closing in with a hairpin and white gloves. He approaches the door and after fiddling with the lock, it snaps open and he walks in. Through the glass, you can see him pulling out documents and quickly skimming through them, then putting them back and leaving the area.

After the playback ended I looked at both of them, they were dumbfounded. "You're not alone," I say to break their frozen glare. "I was shocked as well when I saw this." Shoto shook his head and said "No, No that isn't the problem here. This doesn't make sense"

"He told me yesterday evening that he was training his landings outside..." he said. I was frozen a bit before Yaoyorozu said "Well that was an obvious cover story wasn't it?" I then wanted to take a sigh of relief before Ochaco responded.

"NoNoNO! Ida tell me right now when was the last time you saw Izuku! Before his arrest!" she said. I thought for a moment and said "after dinner, why?" "What was he wearing!?" she frantically asked. "He was wearing his dark green shirt with grey shorts," I replied, not knowing what she was getting at. "Exactly! He wore casual clothes!"

Everyone was now looking at Uraraka in confusion.

"Guys please!" she put her hand on her forehead before promptly putting it down. "We had to give our sports clothes 2 days ago for washing!" Still, everyone knew what she was talking about, but had no idea why.

"That Izuku is wearing his gym outfit!" as she points to the TV. "What did you guys do to ignore such a thing!" Everyone except Shoto and Ochaco was frozen.

'How could we miss this! How could I have turned my back on him so fast... What kind of class representative am I?' I thought to myself.

Todoroki then spoke up, "Alright guys" everyone turned to him. "I honestly can't believe what you guys just did to poor Izuku," he continued, "I'll leave you to inform Aizawa, as for me. Don't talk to me, I will freeze to death anyone that comes to me." He then turned around and headed to his room.

"Me as well," said Ochaco with a slight venom in her voice. "If you guys try something, I'll send you kissing the moon." And she promptly turned around and left.

After a few minutes of dead silence. Some people got up and headed to check on them. They came back with the same statement, "both were uncontrollably crying."

Then a door opened, and everyone looked at the main entrance.

"So how did it go," said Mr. Aizawa

I stood up and walked to Mr. Aizawa. "Ida, could you tell me why everyone is looking so gloomy, did they refuse the evidence?" asked Mr. Aizawa.

"Well, Mr. Aizawa... they noticed something." Aizawa then held up an eyebrow.
