Chapter 20 - Unmasked

Mirio POV

"Froppy! Take back Ryukyu!" I said to her and activated my Permeation to slip through the road. I propel myself out and activate One For All to punch Red crown, but he deals a devastating roundhouse kick to my face.

I grit my teeth and gripped his arm, I then picked him up into the air 'One For All - Complete awning, 30%!' and Smashed him into the ground. "AGH!" he yelled out as he coughed blood, I slowly let go of him and walked back a few steps. Aizawa then comes running for him with his capture weapon ready, but he jumps out of the crater and kicks him in the chest.

As we got him a bit stunned, Aizawa signaled the policeman to open fire. They shot a couple of bullets but they all suddenly stopped, I looked back at them to see a knife through their guns. When I looked back at Red crown, he breathed heavily with one arm out and a knife moving around him insanely fast.

I prepared to run towards him when I felt a sudden chill, and half of Red crowns body was encased in ice. "Ice coffin!" I heard from somewhere, then I looked at Red crown "ARGH!" he roared. I looked around to see Todoroki!

"Todoroki! What are you doing here!" Aizawa and I yelled out at the same time. "Ochaco contacted me! If there is a chance to learn something about Izuku, I'm taking it," he responded.

We then stared at the half-frozen body with Red crown. I started to slowly approach it but then, I saw something.

A twitch.

Ochaco POV

Mirio was slowly approaching Red crown but suddenly stopped. I wanted to ask 'What's wrong?' but my thought was cut short as I heard cracking.

I looked to the ice and an arm started to slowly move, then, as quick as lightning, the arm dug its fingers into the ice on its other shoulder and ripped it off.

We all stayed speechless, no one would resist such an encasement technique. You would only manage to get out if you had a quirk like Mirio. Then his entire body jitters and he cracks out of the ice. No one dared to approach him, but we all got into our fighting stance again.

"I feel it growing," he says with an invisible eerie smile, "fear, your fear is growing..."

Then he stomped on the ground and made the road crack, "Come on!" he yelled. "I accepted my fate! I won't run... Not Anymore!" he said as he made a small hand motion, and 5 knives came from the sides of buildings.

Then we stayed still for 5 seconds before he sent his knives into the ground behind him and ripped out a good chunk of the road behind him and sent it towards us, full of debris.

Luckily he didn't know I practiced for this.

"Tsu! Let's do it," I told her and she understood immediately. I made myself float and waited for her to grip me with her tongue, then she managed me like the end of a rope as I used my quirk to stop all the rocks. "Combined technique: Projectile Denial!" we both yelled out.

Red crown looked stunned, which was great because Aizawa had gotten up and ensnared him. "Damn it Aizawa!" he yelled out. "This is going to be payback," I heard in the distance.

"Good job girls!" yelled Mirio as he gripped one of the floating rocks. "Now release it on my signal! Nejire?" He turned to Nejire. "Got it!" she yelled out and condensed her surge just behind the rock, Mirio then started to have sparks around him and then said "Now!"

I release my quirk and then see Mirio chucking the rock at what seems to be breaking the speed of sound. "Combined move: Soundbreak!' they yelled out. Then as the rock flew into Red crown, a massive shockwave erupted. More than enough for Aizawa to step back at least.

Then as the dust fell from his face I heard a noise.

*Crack*
