Tsukachi, who was still in Hosu, had called Aizawa and told the insomniac to come over. Begrudgingly, both met in the nearest Cafe--Hosu Royal-Tea--and ordered a coffee each.

Like an unspoken pact, no one spoke until the final drop of their coffee was gone. And even then they took a few minutes of silence for the coffee to work its magic.

This was the only close coffee shop that was open the entirety of the night and morning. Not to mention it was currently four in the morning.

Too early for Tsukachi.

A death sentence for Aizawa.

"We were able to capture Stain." Started Tsukachi, folding his arms and leaning back in his seat.

"I am aware." Was the monotone response.

The room was so silent, the buzz of the lights could be heard. Aizawa squinted his bloodshot eyes at the detective. The mood was forlorn.

"A hero was attacked at the scene."

"Get to the point, dangit. You're wasting my time." Aizawa pointed out, voice rough from tiredness.

This was supposed to be a break from the brats.

A break.

"Two of your students were found injured at the scene." Tsukachi pointed out. He wasn't trying to go slow to be a jerk, but he wanted to showcase how the events didn't add up.

"Yes, I know. Iida was found concussed and Todoroki was stabbed in his shoulder. Both also had mild wounds. Nezu has informed me and you decided to call me before I could do paperwork." Aizawa rolled his eyes.

He really wanted to yell at how idiotic his students were being.

"There was a third student at the scene. Izuku Midoriya--"

Now that was news, Aizawa's eyes widened slightly. Midoriya was there too?

He wasn't surprised, per say.

But he wasn't not surprised either.

Midoriya tended to attract trouble.

Unwanted trouble.

"Then where was he when you all were at the scene? Why was I not informed?" The ravenette's posture was loose but held a tense aura surrounding it.

Tsukauchi gulped, "Midoriya was not found. He had captured the hero killer, was able to stabilize his classmates and the hero involved, and texted Manual on Iida's phone. However he said he would greet the heros at the alley's mouth. He was never spotted. We sent out a search--nothing. Gran Torino waited at his house for the boy's return--nothing. We asked around the shops and buildings but no one saw the kid. Not to mention most camera's in the area were down due to a power line short. From the few running cameras we did find, no footage showed Midoriya leaving the street or city."

Aizawa furrowed his eyebrows and leaned forward in his chair slightly, "You deduce he was abducted?"

"I don't know what happened to the kid. I just know he was never found but he also never left."

Aizawa sighed. He lifted his arm lazily and a waiter walked up kindly.

"I'll take another two coffees to go, thank you." The waited bowed and walked behind the counter one more. Aizawa, spotting the questioning gaze of the detective clarified. "I'm going to go the Hospital and ask the two if they saw anything."

Tsukachi nodded, tapping his fingers together. "I'm sorry for the short notice meeting. Thank you for coming, if I have anymore news, I'll let you know. We will be in contact."

Aizawa waved the brunette off with a flick of his wrist. Tsukachi took his que to leave and walked out of the shop. Aizawa, however, stayed until his coffees were made and then walked to his car.

This was going to be a long night indeed.

When Aizawa reached the hospital, he was done with his first coffee and starting on his second.

Half tempted to stop by another coffee shop on the way, he had driven slower than normal when passing by.

He walked passed the receptionist and hopped in the elevator. Reaching the sixth floor, he got out and finished his trek to the brats' room.

He didn't knock before barging in on the teens. They were supposed to be resting at six in the morning anyways.

He saw the TV's lights flickering as the screen changes. It was on a news channel.

Aizawa had the suspicion that neither of the boys were asleep, and he was proven correct when he turned on the lights. Iida looked at the newcomer while Todoroki stared at the television intently. It was as if the hetochromatic teen was attempting to bore holes in the newscasters' foreheads.

They were talking about the weather and events of the past day.

News about the Hero Killer's capture have yet to be released to the public.

"You aren't resting."

Iida looked down at the bed he was sitting on. He seemed timid. Like he was caught fighting the Hero Killer in a vain attempt to avenge his brother.

Oh wait.

He was.

"No sir." Was Iida's polite response.

At the same time, Todoroki pointedly asked, "Where is Midoriya?"

The duel user's eyes didn't leave the screen and his voice was monotone, yet his fists clutched a section of his blanket tightly.

Aizawa sighed and walked over to a chair near Iida's bed. He pulled it over to the middle and plopped down. Putting his coffy by the leg of his chair, he began rubbing his temples.

"That's what I'm here to talk about. I need the full details of what happened tonight." He lifted his head and looked at both the boys. Iida met his eyes in a sad fashion. Todoroki blatantly ignored the teacher.

I want to expell them so badly.

He turned his attention fully to Iida, deeming the youngest Todoroki useless for information gathering in his current state.

And Iida relayed the whole story.

He heard a scratchy cackle from the alleyway as well as sword clanking sounds. He bolted towards the noise. Native was on the ground, a long sword dangling above his throat but Iida jumped in and began attacking stain. Todoroki, also nearby and interning with his father, was sent to find a police officer to call for backup. His father didn't want him fighting the nomu's. So when he was attracted by sounds of painful grunting, he snuck closer to the alley. Jumping in, he was able to distract Stain momentarily. The vigilante was attacking both teens left and right before finally landing a cut on Todoroki. He then pushed Iida into a wall with too much force. The teen's head whipped back and smacked the wall with a small thud.

Todoroki was the only one awake after that.

Aizawa nodded. Now he just needed Todoroki's side.

A long silence enveloped them, only being filled with the mumbles of the newscastor.

"Midoriya got there as Stain stabbed my shoulder. I saw him begin to fight the Hero Killer as I was in and out of consciousness....A couple times when I was going in and out of consciousness, I saw him cleaning up Iida, standing above me, and then there was his horrible screeching sound...."

Aizawa hummed. That was odd.

"The next time I opened my eyes, he was gone." Todoroki finally took his eyes off the television and turned his back on his teacher and friend. "I'm going to sleep now."

All three people knew Todoroki wasn't actually going to sleep. Nonetheless, Aizawa left the room, and turned the lights off once more.
