"2285" kinsley finished giving some boy her phone number as we stood outside of the game waiting for the boys since it was now over. I just looked at my phone checking the time, wishing they would hurry up
"Ima hit you up"
"Okay" Kinsley smiled as he started to walk away and then she looked at me "that nigga so FINEEE"
"What happened to your forbidden romance with Dominique?"
"I told you earlier that boy basically said fuck my daddy. And you know ion play bout my daddy. Then he was just in the game kissing on some girl neck... but you was still blowing up my shit and social media. Nigga bye. That's why I blocked his ass"
I looked at kinsley before hearing Kyran and Jeremiah's voices so my attention went onto them
"Finally!" Kinsley spoke first and Kyran stuck his middle finger up
"Congratulations yall" I smiled as Jeremiah threw his arms around the both of us
"Cause a nigga just broke the school record for most points in a game AND season. I told y'all, I'm that nigga" Jeremiah boasted "now a nigga bout to turn the fuck up since my momma and daddy wanna go on vacation and leave me behind like I'm a pet fish or some shit"
"I still can't believe they trust all of us to be in that house alone"
"Only cause they trust you" the three of them said at the same time causing me to roll my eyes
"Aye, Brielle" I heard a voice making me look back and saw that it was lashaun
"Oh hey" I spoke then looked over at Kyran before walking to meet lashaun
"Some shit came up that I forgot about so we gone have to reschedule. Is that okay witchu"
I mentally let out a sigh of relief as I nodded
"Yeah. That's fine with me actually. I was gonna be with them anyways" I pointed over at everybody and he nodded
"So all of y'all just hang out together on the weekends"
"Yeah" I shrugged "it's always been that way"
"I be forgetting yall grew up together.. so what y'all gone do after y'all graduate?"
"Ion know" I looked over at them "that's up for life to decide"
"True. But y'all seem like y'all pretty close. Especially you and kinsley... and you and Kyran"
"Well that's because we are"
Lashaun looked at me before looking past me over at them and then at me again
"What?" I asked and he shook his head
"Nothing. I just really do fuck witchu. But you be acting like you uninterested"
"I already told you I'm just focused on my dreams right now. It's not that I'm uninterested"
"You sure?" He asked, looking me dead in my face
"What else could it be?"
Lashaun laughed a little before flashing a smile and just gave me a hug, smelling good as hell to say he just finished playing basketball
"Ima catch you later, ight"
"Yeah sure" I responded, eventually pulling away from the hug and he walked past me. I turned around to look at him, confused at what he was tryina say. He dapped Kyran and Jeremiah up before walking off and I went back over to them
