"Ion know how my momma left yall in charge when kinsley can't cook and Brielle a vegan. I hope Kaleia cooked my shit and not y'all" Jeremiah said as I walked over to the table they were sitting at
"Shut up. And I'm not vegan"

Kinsley was about to sit down in the seat beside Kyran but changed her mind as he lifted his head up from his food, looking at her. Instead she sat beside Jeremiah so I took the seat beside Kyran and Kaleia sat at the end of the table with a plate of food for herself
It was very obvious that Kyran not talking to kinsley was really hurting her. Honestly I don't think any of us expected him to go this long but then again, this is Kyran we're talking about
"It's alright kin. You still got me to talk to" Jeremiah said while he tapped her shoulder and she pushed his hand away
"Shut up"
"How long you gonna keep this up?" I asked Kyran lowly and he glanced up at me while still eating before looking at his phone, scrolling through Instagram
"Well on another note, did y'all meet the new boy? Aj" Kaleia asked and I nodded
"Yeah. You met him?"
"We got health class together and when I tell y'all that boy got MONEYYYY"
"He said his daddy was a lawyer" Jeremiah spoke
"I'm still tryina figure out where I know that name from" Kyran muttered
"Cause I'm pretty sure you seen his daddy billboards all over the place. I think he said he retired now though"
"Nah.. like I HEARD that name before"
"Well shit. If his daddy looking for more kids, I'm available" Jeremiah volunteered and Kaleia sucked her teeth
"Nigga bye! You a whole spoiled ass only child. I'm the one that don't have a daddy"

"That sperm donor barely counts as a father. So I'll say one because Elijah is a good example of what my daddy should've been"
"Well I'm not gonna insert myself in this conversation because I'm actually good with the father I have" I told them and Kyran chuckled, keeping his eyes on his phone
"That because yo daddy got you spoiled just like kinsley. I bet y'all don't even wipe y'all own asses. Just bend over and they'll do it for you"
"Actually I'm barely spoiled. Jr is the one that's spoiled at his grown age. Like I tell y'all every time, I'm the parent in my household because my momma and daddy still think they're in high school. Do y'all know how traumatizing it is living alone in a house with them"
"It can't even be that bad" Kaleia told me and I placed both of my hands on the table, leaning forward
"I was busy meditating last night and I guess they thought I was sleep"
Her face frowned up

"Yes! And they were LOUD"
"You meditate?" Kyran asked me, finally looking up from his phone
"Yes"
"Let them people fuck. Y'all be hating." Jeremiah just felt the need to say
"So you cool with hearing your parents fucking?"
"I go to sleep with headphones on.. the comfortable ones cause I like listening to the rain sounds. And if I'm not sleep my daddy just slide me some money and tell me to have fun for a couple of hours so I dip out"
