Xavier woke up to a golden ceiling and a soft bed. He sat up straight but hissed at the sudden pain. "Easy.." Sarah spoke coming to stand beside him and Xavier looked at her in surprise. "Sarah. What are you doing here?" He asked. He didn't even know how he got here but the thing that was most important was her. She wasn't supposed to be here like this. "I was in the lobby when you collapsed. Alan asked me to help so I came" Sarah said smiling and Xavier retreated. Sarah got a bit hurt at his reaction. "Where's Alan?" He asked instead looking away as his jaw tightened. "He went to get your medication" Just then, Alan entered and Xavier's angry eyes snapped to him. He gulped putting the medications down. "Did you ask her to come?" Xavier said and Alan fidgeted. "Sir I can explain-" Xavier didn't let him continue and roared in anger. "WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO DECIDE?" Sarah flinched at his outburst staring at him wide eyed. Xavier's eyes full of rage locked with hers and Sarah shrank back. Scarred of him. His eyes softened but it was too late. She was already picking her bag and was out the door.

Sarah held her tears in. She came for him. Yet he didn't even want her there. She knew now that she was just delusional and there was nothing to hope for . She felt the whole weight of the world crash down on her at the moment. "Wait.." Alan called but she didn't stop. Too lost in her thoughts, she kept walking. Only when Alan stood in front of her, blocking her path, did she look. "What is it now?" she asked exhausted and just wanting to go home.
"Look I don't know what the deal is with you two but...he likes you alright. He's so used to pushing people away that he doesn't show it but he does because I have seen the way he looks at you" Alan said. Sarah couldn't believe the words she was hearing yet she denied shaking her head. "No you didn't see the way he spoke there"
"I did. And he's just doing that because he thinks it's best for you but please bear with him..."
Alan pleaded. Sarah looked at him and asked instead
"Why do you care so much?"
Alan's shoulders dropped. "Because I have seen him over the years. He deserves to be happy. He's a great man"
"I need a moment to think.." Sarah said moving away and Alan nodded understanding her point of view.
"I hope you come back" He called after her and Sarah got into the elevator. She needed to think this through.

Xavier looked at him as Alan entered the room. "Why did you go after her?"
He said with a tight jaw and looking away.
"Because you need her" Xavier looked at him once again. "You don't know anything. Stay out of my business.." He said
"I have seen the way you look at her. You love her. -" Alan tried to explain but Xavier cut him off.
"That's enough. Order me some food. I'm hungry"
Alan sighed but did as was told. He knew, he wouldn't listen because he was headstrong but he really hope they work it out. Xavier looked outside and though of what he did. His reaction was not want he wanted to show but he also didn't want her to do something that was against her religion. No matter, if he was her friend or her brother's, he didn't want her to come close to a man that wasn't rightfully her husband. He respected her too much to let her do something like this. He would have loved to have her here but a very protective side of her didn't want her to come close. There was still a dominant beast that resided in him. He didn't want that beast to come anywhere close to her.
