*IMOGEN'S POV*

Well, the day wasn't actually as bad as I thought it was going to be. Taylor didn't really talk to me, unless it was to apologise for what she did - I swear she's stupid. Either that, she's just desperate for some friends since everyone turned against her when they found out what she had done.

Her problem though, not mine!

I've been trying to convince Nareesha that she should tell me where Tom is taking me tonight, but she keeps refusing. She's good at keeping secrets. Won't even give me a clue as to where we're going to be going out. It's really bugging me now.

I keep trying to guess, but she won't even tell me if I'm right or wrong.

"So, what is going on between you and Tom then?" Taylor asked suddenly as we sat down outside some coffee shop, placing our bags on the floor beside us.

"What do you mean?" I replied.

"Well, are you together? Are you just friends? Are you friends with benefits? What exactly is going on?"

"And what's it got to do with you? You and Max are happy together, so what's my life got to do with either of you anymore?" I shrugged at her.

"I was just asking. I didn't think you'd move on this quickly..."

"And why would you think that?"

"Because you were pretty cut up when Max ended everything and then you found out that we were together..." she replied with a smug look on her face. She knew that she was lying about who ended it and how I 'found out' they were together.

I would love to have slapped that smug look off her face, but then I would have to answer all the questions from Nareesha. And I really wasn't in the mood for that. So I just went along with what Taylor was saying; simply because I knew the truth and so did she.

"We're together, okay? Me and Tom are dating!" I snapped at her. I didn't mean to say that, but she was just annoying me with all the questions.

I just panicked and said the first thing which came to my head. No idea why it was that though.

I'm sure Tom was going to think I was a right idiot now. And all because I didn't think before I spoke. But it was too late to take it back now. It had been said and there was nothing I could do about it.

Taylor looked at me in complete shock and I had left her speechless. Bonus.

While Nareesha looked extremely happy. She got excited way too easily. But it was funny.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for the both of you, why didn't you tell us?" she asked with a massive smile on her face.

"We were just trying to keep it a secret for now. We were planning to tell you all this weekend..." I lied quickly.

I had to talk to Tom before this all got out of hand. I can see this backfiring on me now and I'm the one who's going to look stupid.

"Well, we won't tell anyone. Don't want to ruin your surprise, but I'm still happy for you!" she said again, slightly happier than before. And I never even thought that was possible. But there you go.

"Glad that you're happy Imogen. You deserve it..." Taylor said, looking at me with suspicion in her eyes. Like she knew that I wasn't telling the truth; but I didn't really care.

"What did I miss then?" a familar voice said from behind me. I turned around to see Kelsey stood there with a massive smile on her face. She was always happy about something, yet she never told us what. She was a bit strange like that.
