Imogen's POV -
"Are you ready yet?" Tom asked for about the fifth time in the space of an hour. He could be rather impatient sometimes, he needed to learn that beauty doesn't just happen over night.
It takes time to look this good.
"Hang on, just finishing my hair..." I chuckled.
"You said that fifteen minutes ago. How bloody long does it take?" he replied.
I wasn't actually doing my hair, I finished that ages ago. I was doing my make-up, but if I told him that, then he would come in here and tell me how I don't need it. I'm beautiful without it.
Shame I don't want to believe him and shame he's never going to change my mind.
Make-up is a girl's bestfriend. Well, it's mine, don't know about the other four billion girls in the world.
"I'm nearly done. Sorry that I'm taking so long..." I laughed again. Winding Tom up was so easily done and I enjoyed it far too much sometimes.
"This had better be worth it!" he sighed as I heard him walk away from the door, presumably he was going to watch some TV or something like that until I was ready.
I took one last look in the mirror, making sure that everything was how I wanted it to be. Didn't want anything to be out of place or look strange when I walked out of here; it took a while to get everything this way and I wasn't in a hurry to ruin it.
Once I was satisfied with the way I looked, I grabbed my jacket off the bed, picked my phone up from the bedside table and made sure I had my money on me. Couldn't go anywhere without that, especially since Tom had already told me I was buying the first round of shots.
                              Urgh.
Just the thought of shots makes me want to be sick. I vowed that I would never touch them again after what happened  the last time, I ended up being carried home by Kelsey. And I'm not even joking about that one.
Even Tom was more sober than me that night, and I never thought I would see the day that happened.
"At bloody last..." Tom said as he stood up from the sofa,  turning around quickly but then stopping when he looked at me.
                              "What?" I smiled at him.
"Yo-you look amazing..." he stuttered as he walked over to me at the same time. Grinning like an idiot.
Anyone would think he's never seen me before and he was seeing me for the first time.
"Thanks Tom, you don't look too bad yourself..." I smirked.
He had gone for the jeans, white t-shirt and leather jacket look. Simple it may be. Hot and sexy it definitely was.
"Well, I didn't make as much of an effort as you did!" he laughed, looking up and down me one last time before he grabbed my hand and literally pulled me out of the house. Making sure he locked the door behind him, not that anyone who tried to burgle would actually make it out alive.
Shoes, clothes, bags. Basically, everything was all over the place and needed to be sorted out. But I gave up tidying up, because it never lasted.
Tom and the boys would always find a way of messing it up again. His flat, nothing I can do about that.
"Where are we going then?" I asked.
"Just into town. Kels, Nath and Jay are meeting us there; so it's going to be a messy night..."
"What about Seev and Nareesha?" I enquired, not really giving a damn that Taylor and Max weren't going to be there. They would just ruin the night anyway by being moody and annoying.
"I did ask them, but they said they were busy. Going to see Nareesha's neices I think!" he smiled.
"I'll have to pay them a visit tomorrow. Gotta talk to Nareesha about this holiday that she wants us girls to go on..." I stated.
Still not really wanting to go, especially since I was going to have to be nice to Taylor for a whole two weeks.
I can only just do it for a day, so I don't know how the hell I'm going to manage two weeks. Could be interesting and probably won't end well for one of us.
Not saying which one, but I know it won't end well for one of us.
"Bet you and Kels will have an amazing time being nice to Taylor. I wish you the best of luck with that one!" Tom laughed.
"I think we're going to need a lot more than luck to get through it. Anyway, I thought tonight was about us, not that bitch?"
"It is. Nothing is going to ruin this night and nothing is going to come between us; especially not someone like Taylor!" Tom beamed, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me in closer to him so that he could keep me warm at the same time as being affectionate.
He was just too cute sometimes.
                              "Good!"
"Right, I've got a bet for you..." Tom smirked at me.
                              "And what might that be?"
"That I'll still be standing at the end of the night, while you'll be needing help to get home again..." he replied smugly knowing exactly how he was going to win this one. He absoultely hated losing and this was no exception to that rule.
He was going to win and I already knew that.
"What happens if you win?" I replied.
"You've gotta clean the flat again while listening to me gloating for the next week..."
                              "And if I win?"
"But that's not going to happen, we both know that..." he replied confidently.
"But still, let us just say that I did win, what would I get from it?" I asked again, wanting to know what he was going to say.
"If you win, then you can have whatever you want..." he replied.
"I want to go on holiday. With you..." I answered.
                              Tom's POV -
"I want to go on holiday. With you..." she smiled at me.
There were many things that she could have said, but this wasn't one of the ones I thought she would say. I thought she would go for something else.
But if that's what she wants, then not going to say no to her. Going on holiday with her sounds like a good idea, then people will see we're for real and not just something that was designed to wind Max up or for revenege for what happened.
                              "Deal?" I replied.
"Deal..." she smiled as we shook hands and continued our journey into town to meet Kelsey, Nathan and Jay.
It was going to be a messy night which I would regret in the morning, but that's all part of the fun and I love having a fun.
Especially when you're having fun with your friends.
Makes it even better and even more memorable.
"I love you Imogen, you know that right?"
"Of course I do, I love you too Tom!" she smiled again, her hand finding her way to mine and interlocking our fingers with each others. Making me feel an immediate wave of happiness and love, it was like nothing I'd felt before and I enjoyed it.
And to think, I nearly threw all this away because I was too scared to keep going. Because I was worried about what would happen. And because I was so concerned with what other people thought.
Such a good job I didn't throw this away, or I'd be kicking myself now.
