The ground keep shaking as Ziggy tried to hold onto his powers to stop but the mix up of his emotions with the flashbacks of Beck about The Elementals give him a bad panic attack hard to shake off as he was holding the side of his heads trying to calm down, Peter quickly run to his side and stood in front of him.
"Zig, hey" – called Peter
"Peter...I can't...I..." – tried to say Ziggy as he trembled and cried
"Baby, calm down" – said Peter – "here..." – he trailed grabbing his boyfriend's hand and putting it over his chest – "feel my heartbeat, I'm here and nothing is gonna happened" – he stated before pulling the boy closer and put their foreheads together – "as long as we are together you are safe with me" – he assured
Ziggy closed his eyes and focused on the feeling of his boyfriend's heartbeat under his hand and the movement on the brown haired boy's chest as he breathe slowly and he mimicked to calm down his own breathing, he thought about the words Peter said to him playing them over his head, the same words that he always told him every time he had a nightmare or he felt bad that always made him feel like everything was truly fine.
Then slowly but surely Ziggy started to calm down and his panic attack subside just like the mini-earthquake he was creating, once everything was alright he moved to hug Peter who hugged back rubbing circles on his back to calm him down as he still trembled on his arms.
"I'm sorry, I...I don't know what happened" – apologized Ziggy
"It's okay baby, nobody got hurt, you are safe" – said Peter
"What the hell was that?" – Asked Fury mad appearing on the room making everybody turn around to look at him
"It was me sir...sorry, I don't know how that happened, I have experience night terrors and panic attacks before but...something on this one was different and surely my powers weren't this affected by them" – explained Ziggy
