Emmet and Jimmy walked right behind Victor so the green haired boy could continue disable the powers of both Phantom and Doom, even he wasn't focusing on doing it as he had a distant and sad look after Scott snapped at him he could do it easily at this point.
"Hey" – called Emmet to the boy next to him – "look...I don't know how much time you and Scott have together and I'm not gonna pretend I know it all" – he stated
"I'm fine for real" – said Jimmy
"You are not fine green wonder" – said Emmet – "what Mini-Cyclops said to you hurt you and it shows, your face says it all for you" – he added
"Scott has a long grieving history, his brother died and he wasn't even there to be close to say goodbye to him or something and his ex-girlfriend sacrificed herself to save everybody in front of him, both stuff have built up in him and I guess the second one still a fresh wound after we saw the Jean from this universe" - explained Jimmy - "or other universe that landed here...their story is really complicated" – he added scratching his head
"But you two may find a way to make it work, after all you both came here from another universe and if he came here for you that means something" – said Emmet
"I guess it does...but...now I'm not sure" – said Jimmy with a sigh
"It does Jimmy, trust me I know about ruff starting relationships with Johnny" – said Emmet
"But you two seem quiet alright, it doesn't look like you two might had or have any kind of issue with each other" – said Jimmy
"Maybe now, but it's been a year since we started our little dance and I was an asshole to him when he first attempted to woo me and he did some stupid shit as well, but we are here now, if we could make it work anyone can" – explained Emmet

"Can you two shut up? Your sappy parade is annoying and Emmet I think you are clearly exaggerating the start of you and Storm's relationship, mostly because you could have done so much better" – said Victor
