How Does the Eye Move?
There are six extraocular muscles responsible for the eye's rotational movements.
The eye muscles are divided into three groups: the muscles inside the eyeball, the eyelid muscles and the extraocular muscles, which ensure the rotation of the eyeball inside the eye socket.
