Blackpink were finally in New York. The lights, the hustle bustle, the food, people and the pace of the city were unmatched. Chaeyoung had listed the city as her dream cities to visit and be in growing up. Whether it was roaming around the famous Central park zoo with her parents and Lisa, visiting various restaurants, shopping for clothes with her mom, she arrived at an conclusion she was right.
Floating around the pool of the hotel they were currently staying in, feeling completely blissed out, she knew she was living the dream. The calmness of the moment making her feel peaceful-
Splash!
The fright caused Chaeyoung to fall of her float, gasping for air she reached the surface, coughing a little, focusing on who disturbed the moment ready for murder.
"LISAAAAAA!!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!! ATLEAST ANNOUNCE YOURSELF NEXT TIME! I THOUGHT I HAD AN HEART ATTACK!"
"Oh quit being so dramatic. It was hilarious though. You jumped from your float like a startled cat!" Lisa laughed loud enough for the whole hotel to hear making Chaeyoung's anger now turn into embarrassment. She splashed Lisa with water while she was unaware, now laughing herself while Lisa's hair was drenched.
That's what started the pool fight. Jennie and Jisoo after failing to pull them apart actually joined them now all girls in the pool just splashing around like seals.
Going up to the rooms was more entertaining, giggling about the incident and laughing at their own childishness. Chaeyoung entered her shower with her heart full. With a wide smile on her face she flopped down on her bed. Everyday she was grateful to have this rapport with her members. She personally knew the groups which did not get along and their relationship was strictly professional. But she can't imagine how it'd been if that were the case with Blackpink.
Flopping down on her bed wearing her coziest pajamas she bought to feel a little older and sexy but still be comfortable and warm in her New York shopping haul.

A call on the her room telephone shocked her. "Hey you're awake right?" Jennie asked when she picked up the phone.
"We can call each other's room with this?"
"You didn't know that yet?"
"If I did would I be asking you that?"
"Good point. Now you know. Anyways I have a surprise for you. Open your door in 2 minutes."
"Huh. Jennie unnie if you're gonna splash me with water when I open the door I'm not falling for that." Chaeyoung sighed.
"Have a little faith in me woman. Just open the door in 3...2...1. GO GO GO!" Jennie shouted in her ear.
"OK OK stop screaming!"
Keeping the phone down with a thud, Chaeyoung rushed to the door while tying her robe. She didn't want Jennie screaming at her again and but weirdly she trusted Jennie enough to blindly open the door.
Nothing could've prepared her for the sight infront of her. Even in his mask and bucket hat from which the curly ends of his hair peaked, his all black outfit it was unmistakable to recognise who it was. Or it was mostly due to her following every single page related to him on her backup account so the girl knew his style now.
Eyes widening, she did something she never thought she would. She leaped into his arms from where she stood remembering not to make a noise as she silently squealed. Jungkook blanked at the sight of Chaeyoung in robe, held her tight minutes after wanting to slap himself once to confirm this was happening for real. The smell of Chaeyoung's coconut and some floral scent shampoo calmed him down, making him hold onto her tighter, pulling her closer to him.
"Hey you." He finally croaked out.
"Hey you." She sighed contentedly against his throat. Her breathe fanning his skin, making him stand a little straighter now. She drew away from him blushing furiously at her impulsive decision.
"Sorry for attacking you like this." She looked down at the brown and white carpeted door of the hotel corridor.
"I'm willing to get attacked like that by you anytime." He chuckled looking at her, ignoring how fast his heart was beating. He was sure his ears were pink too but he didn't dwell on that. Instead he looked at the girl who had occupied his thoughts for the last 9 months. She had grown a little into her weight. She looked a little a more mature, the blonde hair colour making her look sexy. He almost melted on the floor with uwu after seeing how her pink cheeks puffed up to his response but instead he smiled at her with utmost adoration.
"I'm sorry. Would you like to come in?" Nodding his head, they stepped into her room. Though Blackpink had debuted only 2.5 years ago, Jungkook was impressed by how well YG treated the girls with their accommodations for the least if not other things. The rooms were luxurious similar to the ones BTS were given. Sitting down on the sofa, he saw Chaeyoung shyly fumble around and then finally switch on the kettle.
Placing hot tea in his hands, Chaeyoung sat down at the end of the couch with her own tea. Her robe riding up a bit at that movement but Jungkook gave his entire strength to look into her eyes instead not wanting to look like a creep.
"I don't know your drink preferences yet. I hope Earl Gray is ok?" She asked him shyly.
"I don't mind." He smiled at how she said yet. "I'm mostly a coffee person but this is ok."
"And banana milk." She nodded. He now grinned at her knowing she remembered their last meeting.
"How have you been?" She asked after a moment of silence.
"Um good a little tired with the travel and practice. How about you?"
"Pretty much the same." She nodded. Was this awkward for her. Ofcourse it was Jungkook! He chastised himself in his head.
"I'm sorry for randomly showing up. You look like you were ready to sleep."
She looked at him meeting his eyes, shook her head a bit smiling. "Worth it. The best surprise I've gotten in a long time. One thing confuses me though. How did you contact Jennie unnie?"
"Oh that took a lot of begging to Jimin hyung."
Still confused Chaeyoung looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.
She's too adorable.
"He's close to Kai hyung." Understanding now Chaeyoung grinned at him.
"So how long do you have here?"
"I'm here till tomorrow night. If you don't mind we could spend it together."
She nodded. "What do you have in mind?"
"I was thinking a stroll in Central Park and then I could make some reservations at a restaurant which I've come to love." She grinned at the idea. How did he know it was her ideal date.
"How long do you have until you have to leave?"
"No one knows I'm here except Jimin hyung. So it's better if I return before 5."
