The only feeling that occupied Jungkook's heart at the moment. He felt as if people don't realise the joy of the person whom you're in love with just sits besides you watching a movie.

Saying that Chaeyoung's surprise was unexpected would rather be an understatement on his part.

After somehow finding the strength to stop kissing his girlfriend, he let her freshen up while he made another bowl of ramen for her and ordered a box of fried chicken as he knew she'd be hungry. He felt like a giddy high school boy again. Chaeyoung was in his shower at the moment and to avoid being a creep he didn't ponder on that thought longer. Adding some cheese to her ramen after pouring it in her bowl the way he knew she liked, he hunted some green peppers in his fridge. Ever since Jungkook had watched Blackpink house, he subconsciously kept ordering those for her. Not that he ever ate them. His spice tolerance was good but no way was he pushing it there. He didn't waste them either. He'd take it to the Bighit canteen chef after he realised his purchase for the intended person wasn't present.

He'd been in a hotel room with her the last time they were in New York and nothing had happened. So he shouldn't be feeling nervous right? He'd kept himself in check then, he could do that now also.

But. They weren't dating back then. Everytime he saw her, he happened to lose his senses. Which was happening for the first time in person since they started seeing each other. When she was far away, there seemed to be a yearning. Whenever she'd shift her sleeping position it'd show some cleavage, or her just sitting and ranting in her robe and the sleeve would just slip. Worst part was she was completely clueless about it. So he felt like never bringing that up ever. Or resisted flying to wherever she was with all willpower in the world that he could muster.

But today was different. It had taken him to physically step back to stop him taking her right there on his living room floor and he had to stop. Their first time is not going to rushed, and hardly on a floor.

The opening and closing of the bathroom door brought him out of his thoughts, causing him to move from the kitchen after procuring the extra set chopsticks from the cabinets. He rushed to the living room, setting down the food next to his. He remembered to reheat his food. He went back to the kitchen to do so. Keeping the chopsticks in his mouth, he watched his ramen reheat in the microwave from a distance. Because he didn't want it to blow up in his face. It's a real fear, don't laugh.

"It smells good."

He almost jumped at the sudden statement. He looked back slowly trying to calm his heart but no avail. Chaeyoung stood at the door of the kitchen with slight pink cheeks and in white pajamas.

Her hair was in a bun, bare feet. She looked at home.

At home.

His home.

The chopsticks in his mouth almost fell at the sight.

"I made some ramen for you too." Why was his voice so hoarse? Clearing his throat he led her to the living room. He was sure his ears were red by now but that couldn't be helped now.

He sat on the sofa, patting to his side for her to take a seat as well. They were making out sometime ago just a few feet from here, it shouldn't be that difficult to just sit besides each other right?

Right?

She sat down next to him timidly. Was she nervous as well? But her nervousness must have left when she saw the food. He almost laughed at lovingly she looked at her food while almost inhaling it.

Good. Some things are not meant to change.

The bell rang. He got up to fetch the order. Two portions of rice and fried chicken. They are mostly in silence. He must've switched on the TV at some point of time, a movie played. But he barely payed any attention to it. He smiled how slowly she got comfortable, at first she sagged back into the couch, then she slowly raised her legs to sit cross legged. Though the action made the shorts ride up.

Look away, Jungkook!

He sighed. This was going to be a long night.

Lord give me strength.
