Jungkook as a teenager would always wonder what love would feel like. What having a partner would feel like? So when he started dating his previous girlfriend, none of the bucket list items that he had to do with his girlfriend ever checked out. If it wasn't his schedule, it was her reluctance to try new things. Complete opposites. They say opposites attract but they also clash.
While Jungkook was art motivated, sporty with a streak of adventurous, she was afraid of heights, barely ate as she was scared to gain weight (despite Jungkook assuring her that she looks good) and a fast runner from anything which required even mild exercise.
That's the time he decided he needed to be with someone who's similar to him. Enjoys working out, shares his love for music, dances with him, paints with him, tries every adventure sport with him but mostly, just accept him for who he is.
His bucket list was simple.
1. Go skydiving Because what said I love and trust you completely so much so that I'd jump out of a plane for you.
2. Cook together While he tried to make a few things here and there he wanted to learn more. And possibly distract her while she cooked for him.
3. Sit at the edge of a canyon and drink wine with cheese Fear of heights eluded him and he hoped even she would feel the same
4. Make a personalised journal/picture album He wanted his children and grandchildren to know what a blast he had in his youth
5. Sit in a small lawn and paint with her
6. Watch a movie marathon in an rented theatre With just the two of them - all genres playing, the haunted genre causing her to clutch him or romantic one making her lean on him.
7. Make a song together He was convinced there was nothing that screamed baring your souls more than sharing your playlists. So making their own personalised song had a different appeal.

9. Taking dogs on a walk in the park Having a picnic like they depicted in the movies with their furry babies running around.
10. Just kissing her and reminding her that she was the most special person for him.
So whenever the interviewers asked him questions about his ideal type, he'd always describe a longing, a part of himself and hoped to hide the yearning of ever having one. Though the connection to any real life person was purely coincidental.
He'd not expected the fanbase to blow up post that and all of his million ships forming theories. But as he struggled to keep his look of disinterest, he did see some of the posts.
