"Walking as a free man has it's own privileges but walking with your hand in mine sounds like a dream."

Chaeyoung when young would often sit in her house's backyard at night and gaze at the stars. It was quite easy to rather get lost in them for an immeasurable amount of time. The twinkling, discerning random patterns from them to amuse herself and then finally lying back down on the blanket and stare at the sky with a smile. Content. Peaceful. Normal. Mundane.

All of the four things which became increasingly a foreign concept as she ventured and made her place in the idol industry. Not that she was naive enough to enter it without knowing of the shortcomings it would follow. She had been warned. But one may try hard to prepare for a test, what guarantees the results is mentality with which you sit at the test with. The situation, the timing and eventually and unfortunately also something unpredictable. Luck.

Chaeyoung looked at the sky as the car moved forward, the stars not visible because of either the well lit city or the pollution or both. A deep breathe calming her down.

She was assured and encouraged by everyone around her who knew of her plan, and she could tell by their eyes, they weren't bluffing. She had gone through her usual after flight checklist.

Phone. Check.

Baggage. Check.

Passport. Check.

Called Parents. Check.

Checked the seat for any remaining items. Check.

Breathed? Check. Or maybe not.

The car ride to the given address was silent. She knew her manager wasn't ecstatic when he'd found out. For a good reason. Her boyfriend happened to be the most popular male idol of the industry, and if media found out, she shuddered.

But it had been five months. Five months since they started dating. Five months since they met. Five months since they held hands. Five months since they kissed.

Everytime Chaeyoung thought of that, her face was an unmistakable shade of red. She never thought something like kissing was addictive. Addictive enough for her to actively miss it every
moment. But as days passed, she had started to doubt her memory. Wondering if she lost the memory of how Jungkook felt, was rather unpleasant.

Thus the plan.

She flew down two days before her members, crossing her fingers that the BTS members were successful in sending Jungkook home. But it made her nervous as well.

Was it too forward to directly arrive at a man's apartment? Granted that he was her boyfriend but would he shun her away after being baffled by her presence?

The thought made her sweat. The driver announced their arrival at the destination and helped her unload her bags to the lift.

Oh god, what am I doing?
