So today we had our first show of Anne Frank's Diary, (I was doing tech for it) What happened:
Mr. Frank's mic kept frigging out.
I choreographed the set changes that day, so they were very chaotic.
We had not had any tech rehearsals, so this was extremely difficult.
Alot of tech people had walkie-talkies to talk to each other (I had one lol)
We messed around back stage a bunch.
We had this little area, with a wall, that had a little hallway leading to the side entrance of the stage, so that was our backstage area.
Me and my friend did our monologue during intermission, and it went really well.
My parents didn't think I was insane.
There was a bunch of drama about the walkie-talkies.
Some of the audience was glaring as my friend during the monologue after she said she had anger issues.
We got the extra candy after they sold some during intermission.
There was an uber adorable kiss scene. (Kiss on the cheek)
I didn't wear shoes and was sliding around in my socks.
My friend texted me and asked me if I wanted noodles... I said yes.
We didn't get mics for our monologues.
The after show bow was a mess.
It was really fun, tiring, and my feet hurt.
And I get to do it all again tomorrow. day!
