I just realized that I never made a chapter on how our Broadway review went.
Here we go:
Our main character quit preforming week, and didn't show to any rehearsals anyway, so our director made ME the main character instead.
The premise was that I was like a ringmaster, Emcee kinda person, who would be all quirky onstage and introduce all the songs. I got this really cool red and gold jacket for onstage, and looked really snazzy.
Nobody gave me any information on anything, and I got the full list of songs THREE DAYS BEFORE THE PREFORMANCE. so, I had two days to write the script.
We had to cut several songs the night before, because it was to long, and some just weren't rehearsed well enough.
People made a fuss about cutting some songs.
My one costume change was a mess, and I missed a cue cause of it.
The people abandoned the sound booth during intermission, so they weren't there when I had to go back onstage.
During one of the songs, people were supposed to slow dance in the background, and a boy asked me to dance with him.
I said yes. (I'll make a chapter on him later.)
I don't know how to dance.
The show was REALLY long.
A girl had a panic/asthma attack backstage because her costume wouldn't come off. It kinda held up the show, and made stalling really hard.
I nearly had a for-no-reason anxiety attack behind the curtain.
It was fun.
We had doors onstage that I could just mess with.
A lot of us went to orange leaf afterwards.
We did it.
Also.... I GOT VOTED TECH PRESIDENT FOR OUR DRAMA CLUB!!
IT HAPPENED A WHILE AGO BUT I DIDNT TELL YOU GUYS BEOFORE SO IM TELLING YOU GUYS NOW WOOOOOO!!
So that's fun.
Have a great day guys 🤗
