A/N: Finally got around to updating! The end of the quarter is near so I'm pretty busy with wrapping up assignments and preparing for exams. But after that I have a whole month off! Until then updates may be a bit slower.

"Will, you're finally home!" Grell happily cried out as she flung herself at her lover's direction, exactly as she had done yesterday. Did she always greet him like this every single day? That was what you wondered.

Just like yesterday, Will gracefully caught her even with one hand holding a bag of takeout.

"Oh Will, I missed you so! It's been so long since I've seen you!" Grell expressed between delivering kisses to Will's face, in which Will responded with bright flashes in his face. He didn't object to any of the affection he was receiving.

"I saw you this morning, love," Will replied. He planted a quick kiss to the redhead's lips after he set her down. You cringed at the sight. You would be less appalled if Grell were kissing someone else. Anyone else.

"Hello, (Y/N)," Will politely greeted you as he passed through the living room and into the kitchen. He barely looked at you. But he didn't have to look at you for you to know that he didn't smile. Not that he ever smiled anyway. Come to think of it, he also spoke in such a monotonous tone that you couldn't tell his true inward reactions towards you. He didn't appear happy to see you in any way, but he didn't seem appalled either. His stoic, no-nonsense demeanor still made you uneasy. It didn't help that you were about to sit at the same table with him.

The three of you gathered up at the dining table. It was too wet to sit outside for dinner. Fortunately, Will did not attempt to interact with you, which brought you a wave of relief. Your introduction with him, the only actual interaction you've had with him thus far, could not have been more awkward. While Will was occupied slowly eating his meal, your mother dominated the dinner conversation with her ramblings and flirtatious comments to her husband. You kept your gaze down at your food as well.

"I just remembered!" Grell said. "I have something for us."

Will eyed her curiously. "Oh? And what would that be?"

"You'll see!" Grell stood from her chair. You watched as she disappeared from the room, leaving you alone with the raven-haired man, whose gelled, combed locks were slightly wet from the rain. Luckily, Grell returned moments later. She was holding the bottle that you helped her steal earlier.

"What do you think?" Grell proudly asked, holding the bottle in front of Will's face.

Will's eyebrows raised slightly as he saw what his wife was presenting. This was the only shift you've ever seen in his facial expressions.

"Grell..." Astonished, he hesitantly took the bottle and examined it. "How did you find this? We've been searching for this wine for ages."

"Just here at the liquor store we normally go to!" Grell executed her cheshire-grin. She brought her hands together and gave Will a cutesy, enthusiastic gaze. "Aren't you proud of me, darling?"

"Yes, but... " Will set down the bottle on the table. "Do I dare ask how you got this? This is one of the most expensive wines out there, and we've been tight on money lately."

"Well, I did have a little help." Grell gestured towards you. "Isn't that right, (Y/N)?"

"O-oh, yes!" You smiled. It was a foreign feeling to feel good about something that was wrong in the world's eyes. But it was the most exciting thing you've ever done in your life, and as long as it brought a smile to your mother's face, you would gladly pull a stunt like that again. "I just helped distract the clerk."
