A/N: Can't believe it's been almost two years since I posted the last chapter of Book II! Thank you all for the reads, votes, and comments. I'm stoked that you guys enjoy this series so much. Because of this, I've been feeling generous and decided to create a bonus chapter. I do have an idea for one more bonus chapter for this book. So if you like this one, let me know if you're interested in more!

"Alright, my dear," your mother said as she pulled up in front of your school. "Still feeling well enough to go to school today?"

"Yep! I feel so good I can climb a ladder to the moon!" You enthusistically told your mother as you grabbed your backpack that laid at your feet.

Your mother chuckled. "Well, good luck with that!" When you giggled, she reached over, wrapping an arm around you before pulling you towards her in a tight squeeze. "But I'm glad you're feeling better, darling. Now, if you begin to feel ill again, you go straight to the nurse. I'll be the knight in shining armor that rescues you."

"Don't worry, I will!" You assured your theatrical mother. Though you highly doubted that would happen considering how well you felt now.

With another squeeze followed by a kiss on your forehead, your mother smiled warmly and said, "Alright, darling. Go on and get inside before you're late!"

You nodded and unbuckled your seatbelt before opening the car door to your right. As you climbed out of the car, your mother noticed that one of your shoes was untied.

"(Y/N), wait!" Your mother tried to stop you but you were already out of the car.

"Bye, mummy!"

"Wait-!" Your mother tried to call out but you had already shut the door and started sprinting towards the school entrance. However, it was merely seconds before you had stepped on one of your laces, causing you to fall forward as you tried to lift your other foot.

"Oh dear!" Your mother gasped, but a wave of relief almost instantly washed over her as she witnessed you able to pull yourself off the ground with ease. Fortunately, before you took off again, you finally noticed your untied lace and tended to it.

"This kid..." Grell muttered and shook her head a little. She made a mental note to give you occasional reminders to check your shoes once in awhile. But in the meantime, she was just glad you were healthy and full of energy again.

After she made sure you were officially inside the building along with the rest of the children that walked amongst the school grounds, Grell finally pulled away and left the campus.

With a smile on her face, Grell hummed melodically to the song that played on the radio. It was official. You were back in school and no longer ill, and it confirmed that she had made the right decision in having her husband care for you. Plus, it had given her a convenient moment to have her own "day off" as you and William thought she was working. Grell was aware that her husband would probably find out that she skipped work soon, but she preferred to just focus on the present moment. And in that present moment was her getting home so that she could take care of her now-sick lover.

At least someone was taking care of William. Despite his own excellent ability to nurse you back to health when you were sick, he was the complete opposite when it came to taking care of himself. Especially when he was under the weather. Grell had memories, one in particular that happened within the last couple of years, where William would try to go to work when he was supposed to be resting at home.

It normally didn't surprise William when he woke up exhausted, especially when he worked overtime like he did the night before. But that morning, William didn't have an ounce of energy to open his extremely heavy eyelids. He was shocked that he was even able to tiredly reach over to turn off his alarm. Even with his eyes closed, dizziness swarmed like a twister in his mind as he struggled to sit up from his laying position.
