Bard and Thranduil rode up towards the gates and Thorin shot an arrow at Thranduil's feet.

“I will put the next one between your eyes!” Thorin shouted.

“We’ve come to tell you: payment of your debt has been offered...and accepted.” Thranduil said.

“What payment? I gave you nothing! You have nothing!”Thorin shouted and Bard revealed the Arkenstone. :"And the king may have it back- in our good will.” Bard continued. “But first he must honor his word.”

“They are taking us for fools. This is a ruse, a filthy lie. THE ARKENSTONE IS IN THIS MOUNTAIN! IT IS A TRICK!” Thorin whispered to himself and then shouted.

“It-It’s no trick. The stone is real. I gave it to them.”Bilbo said.

“You…”Thorin murmured

“I took it as my fourteenth share.”

“You would steal from me?”

“Steal from you? No. No. I may be a burglar, but I like to think I’m an honest one. I’m willing to let it stand against my claim.”

“Against your claim?! Your claim! You have no claim over me you miserable rat!”

"Thorin stop!" I shouted. "YOu've changed, you've gone mad and you must stop. He has done the right thing." I said trying to calm him down.

"You would have helped him haven't you? Never mind that." He walked towards Bilbo.

“I was going to give it to you. Many times I wanted to, but...”Bilbo stopped.

“But what, thief?!”Thorin shouted.

“You are changed, Thorin! The dwarf I met in Bag End would never have gone back on his word! Would never have doubted the loyalty of his kin!”

“Do not speak to me...of loyalty!”

“Throw him from the rampart!”Thorin shouted and I pulled the sword from it's hilt.

"Thorin stop! You will not hurt him unless oyu wish to go through me. Because I helped him."

"But why? I loved you! I would've made you my queen."

"I wouldn't want you as my king because this isn't the Thorin that I fell in love with."

"Then the both of you can leave. Cursed be the Wizard that forced you on this Company!” He shouted and Gandalf quickly rode towards the gate.

“IF YOU DON’T LIKE MY BURGLAR…OR HIS SISTER.”Gandalf shouted. Tears were beginning to stream down my face.

“Then please don’t damage them. Return them to me! You’re not making a very splendid figure as king under the mountain, are you? Thorin son of Thrain!” Gandalf shouted.

“Never again will I have dealings with wizards...” Thorin said and Bofur led us both to the ropes tears were still running down in rivulets.

"Go.”He said and I nodded hugging my friend.

“Or Shire-rats!” He shouted again. "Or harlots!" That hit me hard as my brother and I were lowered down to Gandalf.

“Are we resolved? The return of the Arkenstone for what was promised. Give us your answer! Will you have peace or war?”Bard asked.

"I will have war!”Thorin shouted  I joined my uncle, jumping on a black horse. We didn't share words but I was given a sympathetic nod. I wiped away the tears and saw as Dain Ironfoot rode in on a war-pig.

“Good morning! How are we all? I have a wee proposition, if you wouldn’t mind giving me a few moments of your time. Would you consider...just sodding off!”Dain shouted. “All of you - right now!”

"Stand fest!”Bard commanded. I would fight now.

“Come now, lord Dain!”Gandalf tried to reason with the dwarf lord.

“Gandalf the Grey. Tell this rabble to leave, or I’ll water the ground with their blood!” Dain said.

“There is no need for war between dwarves, men and elves! A legion of orcs march on the mountain. Stand your army down!”

"I will not stand down before any elf! Not least this faithless woodland sprite!” I looked over at my uncle and he was furious but iit was kind of true and if I wasn't so infuriated I would laugh. “He wishes nothing but ill upon my people! If he chooses to stand between me and my kin - I’ll split his pretty head open! See if he’s still smirking then!”

"He’s clearly mad, like his cousin!”Thranduil replied.

“You hear that, lads?! Come on! Let’s give them a good hammering!”Dain said and then we saw them the earth eaters the weir-worms. "Oh come on!" Dain groaned and tat was it I looked to my uncle. We simply nodded. knowing what we had to do and I rode. This was war this was the battle of five armies.
