The scene opens, we see people moving up and down in the busy shopping mall, some sitting at restaurants having meals and chatting with their friends, others going into the movie theater, people coming in and out of lifts and up and down escalators. The weekend is here so the place is packed and brimming with life and excitement. Among the people walking in, we see from one entrance the Singh - Arora clan, that is Pragya, Tarun, Preeta and Kiara. From the other entrance comes Aliyah, Tanu, Neha, Mitali and Disha. The two families do not immediately see each other but they were both there for the same reason, engagement shopping.
While Aliyah and Tanu couldn't care less about the engagement, they could never turn down a shopping spree so they were there to lavish themselves as they usually did. Neha who didn't generally like shopping was completely blindsided with no idea what to buy, her mother had come with her to help her, but she knew that what that really meant was take over everything herself. But luckily for Neha Disha offered to tag along and help her with her shopping as well, at least there was one person there who would actually listen to the bride and was really there to help her.
Meanwhile on the Singh's side Pragya and Preeta were with Tarun to help him chose the very best outfits for his engagement, dare I say they were more excited about it than him. Usually Jojo was Tarun's shopping buddy but since she was injured she had to stay home, much to her dismay and Tarun's relief because she would drag him to every store and style him like a Ken doll. Lastly accompanying Tarun was little Kiara who leaped at the opportunity to go to get out of the house. Since they had settled on the colours Maroon and gold for their dress code, they decided it would only make sense if both the bride and groom chose the outfits together since they had to wear complementary outfits. So the two parties were to meet and shop all together.
However, Tanu and Aliyah went off on their own which didn't bother Neha at all since she didn't even want them there, leaving only Mitali and Disha with her which wasn't any better since Disha couldn't stand Mitali either. The trio proceeded to the spot where they would meet up with the grooms side, whom also somewhat separated leaving only Tarun and Preeta. Pragya had taken Kiara upstairs to go see a movie because the little princess would not stop begging her to take her, so pragya gave in seeing that it would at least keep her busy for a couple of hours while they shopped and that it would be fine since Taylor would be by her side the whole time.

UPPER LEVEL OF SHOPPING MALL
Pragya wast standing at the counter of the movie place holding Kiara in her arms as they tried to pick an animated film for her to watch. After a lot of deliberating they finally settled on an animated adventure film that had just been released and an excited Kiara happily got her ticket from the teller and another for her bodyguard. She wanted some popcorn so her mother took out her credit card and gave it to her to buy whatever she wanted, and she went off to the the food court to chose snacks. Pragya waved goodbye to her daughter and headed back down to the rest of the family, while she was walking towards the lift, something caught her eye, it was a posh mens boutique that was owned by one of her friends from Milan so she decided to go in and buy something for her husband.
