ABHI'S STUDIO PENTHOUSE

Here Abhi's friends had brought him to his penthouse because they were afraid to take him home in his condition, they had called his doctor who came and treated his wounds. Now he laid on the bed still pretty drunk but passed out due to the combination of alcohol and medication that the doctor had given him to soothe the pain,  at this point only one if his friends had remained there with him since the rest had gone back to their homes which he also was planning to do since it was quite late in the evening,  so he called Abhi's wife to come and look after him. After about half an hour a panicked and frantic Tanu arrived and was startled upon seeing her husband's condition

Tanu : what? What happened? Who did this to him?

A crying tanu asked as she rushed towards her husband

Abhi's friend Veer let out a sigh and explained what had happened at the pub to Tanu

Tanu : you're telling me some random nobody did this to him?

Veer : Calm down okay? What's done is done

Tanu : Calm down? Are you really telling me to Calm down? Look at him!! His handsome face is battered and bruised and you want me to calm down?

Veer : look, I Know how you feel but there was nothing I could do, you know how he gets when he's drunk na

Tanu : then why the hell did you let him drink this much!? and why isn't the bastard who did this behind bars already huh!?

Veer : hey don't yell at me, it's not my fault he can't handle his liquor. Also he is a grown man, do not expect me to babysit him like purab does. And lastly, if I had called the police it would have been Abhi that would be behind bars and not the other guy because he is the one who was drunk out if his mind and harassing the waiter, not to mention he threw the first punch.

Veer declared to a fuming Tanu and stormed out of there.

Tanu sat on the bed beside Abhi and tenderly caressed his face, tears fell from her eyes as she looked at his bruised face and she whispered to herself

Tanu : why do you do this to yourself huh? Don't you see how much you're hurting me by living like this?

She said through her soft sobs, then she gently got on the bed and laid beside him, careful not to touch him out of fear that he would wake up and reality would strike, but to her surprise, he put his arm around her and drew her closer into his embrace. The shock that pulsated through her body was indescribable, she was on cloud nine thinking to herself that he finally accepted her, she snuggled into him putting her head on his chest and her hand gently over his stomach and closed her eyes in bliss. This was the happiest moment of her life, finally after seven long years of ice cold treatment she was finally getting her love, for the first time in their marriage sleeping in the same bed she thought to herself as she started drifting off into sleep, her joy was completed when she heart him mutter under his breath, "I love you" but her fantasy came crashing down and her eyes flew open when she heard what followed "I love you, fuggi".
