Episode 6

Techno walked up to the SBI Café. Despite being the front barista, he didn't do well with interaction. So, he in fact, decided to take the back entrance. In order to get there, he had to walk through the left alleyway. It was where the dumpsters were kept, and where Tommy found Shroud. (Techno didn't really understand the meaning of the frog, but he was happy that something else kept the boy occupied instead of him.) He walked down the broken, dusty alley. It was worn down, and sometimes he wondered how Tommy can deal with taking out the trash in these conditions. He was about to space out and daydream about quitting his job, when he noticed an out of place box next to the dumpster. Strange.

Techno eyed the box, and eventually gave into tendencies. Bending down to open the cubed-cardboard container, he caught a glimpse of a label on the side.

'Danger '

Shrugging, he opened the box. Techno gasped as he found tons of old and musty fireworks. Surely these still work? His brain filled with ideas at the sight of explosives. Mind racing. A single man can do a lot of damage with illegal things like these, after all, he had seen what Tommy did a few weeks ago.

He sighed when a realization came over him. He can't be Tommy. After all, Techno is just a side character. Phil would expect that from Tommy. He would get in trouble if he tried something. He tucked his pink hair behind his ear, and lifted the box.

New plan. Invite his family for a little outing, and show them the firework display. And if they happen to miss a slide of hand, and he accidentally causes crime when they blink, then that's none of his business. Box in hand, he walked to the back door of the café, and turned the doorknob.

"Techno! Techno! Techno! Techno!" Tommy repeated. He circled the poor man in curiosity, chanting his nickname. "Techno! What's in the box? Techno! Techno!"

Technoblade hated children, despite his warm spot for the boy.

"Techno! Techno! Techno! Tech—"

"Tommy, shut the fuck up."

Tommy gasped. "TechnoSWEAR??"

Techno rubbed his nose bridge and continued walking through the kitchen. He walked out to where the back counter met the rest of the café. He took a right and knocked on Phil's door. His father opened the office door. (Newly installed, thanks to Tommy.)

Phil smiled. "Hey, son. What's up?"

Techno handed him a box of fireworks. "I was wondering if you and Will wanted to come with me to watch a firework display?" He looked up to see his father's eyes.

"Of course, Tech! I'll go get Wilbur! We can head out after your shift."

Phil stepped around Techno to find Wilbur, who was taking a customer's order. They talked to each other for a bit, and showed no evidence of turning back to Techno. He shifted his gaze to the offended child on his left.

"can I come? You didn't mention me to Phil. Can I come? Can I?" He jumped up and down. Techno swears this kid is not the age he says he is.

"Fine." Techno rolled his eyes. "Only if you stop annoying me."

"Deal!" Tommy ran off into the kitchen.

Phil drove the four into the clearing in the woods. Techno got out of the front seat and opened the trunk of the car. He pulled out the box, and watched as Wilbur and Tommy found a seat in the grass. Phil helped him close the trunk, and they joined the others. Tommy eyed the fireworks, excited for the next hour together.
