I wondered if he was even still awake. The campus security had driven us a mile to the station. It would take me a long time to get back to my dorm, especially in this lonely campus atmosphere at night where all my nerves were on edge as I walked slowly back.

At that second, he called me and a wide smile erupted on my face.

"Hi." I said.

"Are you serious? Are you okay?"

"Ya." I responded, hearing the laughter in my voice cloud my ears. It was a ridiculous situation and all I could do was laugh about it at this point.

"Shit, June, you had me worried! Where are you now?"

"Going back to my dorm."

"Oh, do you... want me to visit?"

"Why are you even asking? Of course I want you." I said, my mind thinking dirty things as my breathing became shallow.

Shit, not now.

"I'll be there." His voice had gone stiff, like certain other things I would presume, as he hung up.

I slowly walked toward my dorm, enjoying the cool night air and pretending I wasn't freezing my ass off, but rather that I was in a state that doesn't get cold in the fall... like California. Sunny, beautiful California that drops to 70 degrees at night.

"Hey." A voice said as I immediately turned in the direction.

"Claire?" I asked, wondering how she came out of nowhere.

"Yup, it's me." She said, approaching me quickly as she stood in front of me, her long blonde hair willowing in the cool air. Another shadow appeared behind her, this was of a shorter, slightly chubby female with hair that was flying in all sorts of directions and skin the color of midnight. Bianca.

"Bianca?" I asked, eyeing the two and wondering what they were doing out here so late.

"Were you on the phone with Abel just now?" Bianca cut straight to the point as my eyes widened.

"What? Why is that any of your business?" I asked as their expressions shifted and I read liked that they both had had their hands on their pockets. "No, I was on the phone with my brother." I lied. I didn't have a brother. At least, not anymore.

I sighed, pushing the thoughts away as they cautiously approached me, their hands safeguarding whatever was in their pockets as my eyes widened.

"H...he's coming to pick me u...up." I stuttered involuntarily as my eyes widened further and the cold air wrapped it's icy fingers around my arms and legs.

"I'm sure." Bianca said monotonously.

"What are you doing out here?"

"Oh, nothing," Claire said sweetly, "just taking a walk."

"O...okay." I stuttered again as I began walking away and they continued to follow me.

"Wait, June." Bianca said firmly and my heart froze.

"W...what?" I was afraid, my eyes were wide as I turned to face them again. It felt like I was facing judgement day and was about to get a life sentence in hell.

"We just wanted to talk to you, silly," Claire said in her overly sweet tone as I remained frozen in place. They walked circles around me as Bianca spoke now.
