*Laughs Manically*

"FUCK YOU, GIVE ME THAT BACK!" The screams of a very annoyed child echoed through the backyard.

The siblings grappled for the stolen wooden sword, trying desperately to get the upper hand.

The older of the two, as well as being the thief, hoisted the battered weapon to the sky triumphantly. The oldest smirked at his younger sister. He really thought he had it in the bag.

She stood back, stomping her hooves slightly as she did. Her brother gave her a suspicious look as she crossed her arms, looking even more smug than him.

"I'll tell Yaya." She threatened, turning to the snow covered house settled into the mountain side behind them. She slowly put another foot down and opened her mouth, ready to shout.

"your choice, really. Just give it back." His dark velvety ears shook as he immediately put down the proposal with a detemaned

"YA-" a hand clamped over her face before she could continue her statement.

"Fine, you little snitch. Have your stupid sword back." Glaring daggers he thrust the treasured item into the small evil mastermind's grip.

A gust of chilling wind swept through the small plateau, so cold it would make the toughest of travelers shiver, so strong the firmest of trees would drop branches. These kids, they simply went back to playing-or fighting. Whichever described it best.

The spruce door opened to reveal the children's 'Yaya' as they called zem.

"aye! You'll freeze to death if you don't come in sooner or later!" Ze chucked the last part, knowing it would be close to impossible for any of them to freeze in this weather. Though they are still lambs, they could get sick. ze silently reminded zirself.

the sheep hybrids ran in at Yaya's command, shoving to get infront of one another.

.................

it was simpler back then, so much more simple. just them, their yaya, and the small plateau that hid them from the world.

but you had to go and buy that dammed boat, didn't you?  she ridiculed herself for the actions of the past.

she looked back up at the tombstone. the name ringing in her ears like music through broken headphones.

Jschlatt was a bad person, but at heart he was still her older brother, the one that used to hide her hairbrush from Yaya so ze couldn't brush her hair. the same brother that would race her to the dining table to get first dibs on whatever they were having that night.

Jschlatt was not the brother she remembered, but he was family. and she had to give him that
