A week later, Sandhu House

Tejo rushed downstairs, "Maa, where is my tiffin?"

"Here, "Satti handed her the lunch box. Tejo gave her a small smile, before she could leave someone's voice halted her steps.

"Where are you going?" Raina asked as she stuffed her mouth with the buttery paratha Lovely served her.

"To the academy."

Raina quickly got up and blocked Tejo's route with folded arms. She moved to the other side, only to have Raina follow. They repeated this several times before Tejo looked at her in annoyance." Raina," she sighed, "what are you doing?"

"Stopping you," Raina answered.

"Why?"

"What do you mean by why?" she gave her a look.

"Raina, it's my responsibility..."

"No it's not," she refuted immediately, "you are doing it because you think. Emphasis on this, please. You think it's your responsibility. It's not."

"I am the owner..."

"Which owner does all the management? That too in such a large academy?" she challenged.

"Raina, please."

"No."

"You didn't let me go there for the past week too..."

"Which is why I am not allowing you even now," she replied, "not gonna let an abominably dumb  man ruin a whole week of my hard work."

Tejo hugged her, and said, "I know you are worried, but I can't hide all my life. I have to do this, at least for the remaining 1 month I have left. Please."

"Seriously?" she pouted, "Your best friend came all the way from London, just to be with you and you are gonna leave her to go there? How rude." Raina sat on the cot sulking.

Tejo chuckled, "Stop your drama, you are a horrible actor." Raina gave her a wounded look, making Tejo laugh. "How about this, I will try to finish the work as soon as possible and rush back home?" Raina rolled her eyes. "Come on, Ray."

"Don't call me that!" she immediately refuted. She sighed, "Tejo think ab..."

"Please."

"Whatever," she pulled her face, "just come back quickly. No need to stay there, who knows if their stupidity is infectious." Tejo giggled and left.

Satti patted Raina's cheeks affectionately and left. Raina exhaled in frustration. Moving towards Tejo's room, no longer in a mood to eat, she tried to brainstorm ideas to keep Tejo away from them. 'What should I do?' she thought frantically when her phone vibrated due to a notification.

Person: Why did you let her go?

Raina: At least I tried, unlike somebody.

Person: What are we gonna do now?

Raina: I don't know. First, let's meet up.

Academy

Tejo was reviewing the balance sheets when Jasmine barged into the cabin, making her exhale in irritation, "Knock kar ne adat nahi hai?" However, all she got was an eye roll in return. Tightening her jaw, she forced herself to ignore her presence.

"Arre wah, bhaoo khanna abhi tak band nahi Hua tera," Jasmine taunted, "Ahh, right. How can you be done, already? Fateh is still not back to you yet."  Tejo's hand's paused. "Stop your drama."

"Oh really?" she asked, "And what drama am I doing?"

"Drama to lure Fateh back to you!" she said, with her nose flared, "First don't attend the academy for a week, so that he misses you and thinks about you and then come so..."
