I decided to take Roman to our base. Jason had texted me and told me that someone was going around and killing many people.

Roman's punishment is going to be fun, but honestly I'm hoping I can last. None of him for a week and i think I'll go crazy. But, he doesn't have to know that.

We're sitting in my giant ass office, im looking over all the paper work that I haven't been keeping up with. Roman's on his phone. I look up and see him smiling to a picture.

"Who's that?" I question.

He looks up at me.

"What?" He's oblivious and so innocent.

"You're clearly smiling at someone on your phone, I want to know who it is." I demand.

"Oh." He pauses for a moment.

"Why do you care?" He continues.

"Don't worry about it love." I know that's his name for me, but it fits him.

"It's just my friend. Are you jealous?" A smile grows on his face.

I am not the jealous type. But with Roman, something about him makes me want to strangle anyone who looks at him. He's mine, only I should be making him smile.

"What kind of question is that? No I'm not jealous. What's his name?" Im definitely jealous.

"Oh really?" He mocks.

"Roman, I swear to god, what is his name?" I demand.

"Well, HER name is Arabella." He has a proud smile on her face.

Shit.

"Oh shut up." I say rolling my eyes going back to my papers.

My phone rings.

"Hello?" I sound pissed.

"Oh, is this a bad time?" It's Jason.

"Oh, no sorry what is it?"

"Well, I was checking our history and did you send out people to go killing?" He sounds concerned.

"What? No why would I do that we killed the Dixon mafia, we've been laying low for a while now."

"Shit, I didn't either. Do you think any of your men went on a killing spree?"

"No, there's no way. They all know better than to go attack without my word." Shit what is going on?

"Dammit. Luckily the people at the palace are safe but-"

"What the fuck? Where's the killing happening?" I cut him off.

"Oh, in the palace, I thought you knew."

"No i didn't why the fuck didn't you think to mention that?"

"Shit i-"

"Save it. Are the king and queen okay?" Shit is Roman okay? He probably doesn't even know.

"Yeah they are fine, they went into hiding. Their out now."

I go silent for a minute. I have to tell Roman. We have to go back. Who would just go killing? I run a mafia, you don't kill for sport.

"You there?" Jason's voice snaps me back to reality.

"Fuck, yeah I have to go, I'll talk to you later." I hang up.

I rest my head in my hands taking a breath out.

"Is everything okay?" I completely forgot he was there.
