Im sitting upstairs by myself and all I can think is if something happened to Roman, it would've been because of me. If anything happened to him I don't think I would be able to live with myself.
I don't want to tell Roman why I'm upset. I don't know why but if I do, I know Ill just feel week. It will show I love him and I don't even know if he loves me back.
I've never cared for someone like i have for Roman. And it scares me. Im going through all these emotions and I don't even know what they mean.
A few faint knocks snap me out of my head.
"Kade, are you okay?" I hear him say quietly.
"I don't know." I admit.
"Is it okay if I come in?"
I get up and unlock my door. He opens it and runs into my arms. It catches me off guard so I stand there for a minute before hugging back. When I give into the hug, I feel my eyes well up.
"Kade, you know you can talk to me. I'll always be right here."
Thats when I break. Not only have I never loved someone like this before, I've never been loved like this before.
After moments of crying in Roman's arms, I pull away and kiss him.
I break our kiss.
"Be mine." I say.
"I am yours," he says confused.
"No, I mean, will you be my-"
"Yes! I mean- you were going to say boyfriend, right?"
"Yeah, I was." I say smiling.
"Yes. 100%." He's beaming.
I kiss him again. And again. I can and will never get enough of him.

After a while of just enjoying each other's company, we hear the door sound. His parents haven't been home, so Roman and I have had the house to ourselves.
I pull out my phone and see a text from Jason. I see that i texted him earlier. I go to Roman.
"Did you text Jason for me!" I ask calmly.
"Oh, shit yeah im sorry, you were really shaken up."
I take a long breath out.
"Im really sorry."
"Its fine Roman." I walk downstairs to go greet his family.
"Gwen! You look lovely." I say kissing her hand.
"Oh why thank you!" She blushes.
"Charles, welcome back, can I speak to you, alone?"
"Lets go to my office." I follow close behind him.
I explain the whole break in. He just tells me i did all the right things. I soon leave and go back upstairs. I see Roman laying in bed sleeping so i join him.
I hear a faint knock on the door and i quickly get up. Its mathea. I open the door slightly and she looks very tired. I step out of the room.
"Are you okay?" I ask her.
"I found the phone of the guy who broke in and, well here." She hands it to me.
She got it unlocked. The messages are pulled up and i see the most recent ones sent. The more I look the more I see.
Thousands. Thousands of messages with my name in them. The contact isn't named either. She apologizes and walks away.
This freaks me out. Whoever is doing this is clearly trying to get back at me.
I go back into the room with Roman. He sits up and i show him the messages.
"This is strange." He says reading them.
"I know. What if im putting you in danger?"
"No, Kade you're not i swear. Im fine and alive. Were fine." He tries go reassure me.
"Until we're not!" I shout.
"God Roman, if something happens to do you i-"
"Im fine Kade. Im right here im not going anywhere I told you this." He pulls me in for a hug.
"Who the fuck even knows this much about me?"
We sit in silence until Gwen calls us for dinner. We all sit at the table and catch up. I have nothing to say to Charles.
"Thank you for dinner Gwen." I say.
"Oh no problem! I love cooking for you boys." She says.
This woman is always happy I swear. For a while we all make small talk. Under the table, Roman finds my hand and squeezes it.
"So, i was thinking. Roman should move in with me. I know its a lot, but i feel he would have so much more opportunity there, you know, so he can look for a wife." I blurt.
"Kade what are you doing?" He says quietly.
"I think thats a great idea." Charles says without event thinking about it.
"Oh hunny, this will be good for you!" Gwen adds.
Its weird they didnt try to disagree with the idea.
"Perfect, were leaving tomorrow." I say with a smile.
Dinner ends shortly after our discussion and as im packing all of Roman's things this breaks our silence.
"Thank you. I cannot thank you enough."
"Don't thank me. I want to see you everyday. I called my people and they will move your stuff to my place so dont worry about it."
He just smiles. I know he will be upset his mother cant come with him, but he needs to leave. We need to leave. His parents will find out that im fucking their son soon i can feel it.
Im just glad were gonna get a place to ourselves again. We can be as loud as we want.
