shishi gets rejected

well, that certainly was eventful

i fear some may not be happy about that.

either way, the story will resume now

"Get back into the pool."

"yaya" shishi grinned and trudged towards Haruka

"Grab on to the edge of the pool."

shishi did as she was instructed

Haruka lifted the rest of her body so she was now floating off the edge, her hands still clutched around the rim

"Kick." 

"what"

"Kick."

shishi was confident she could kick but she was confused about Haruka's position

is this really what he wanted? 

shishi proceeded to kick

kick Haruka in the face.  

shishi looked at him over her shoulder as he coughed and instinctively covered his face

his eyes had closed on impact 

Haruka opened his eyes and his gaze met with shishi

by "gaze" i mean he menacingly stared at shishi through his fingers 

"Why don't you try again." his tone devoid of any positivity and passive aggressive 

shishi was still floating so he didn't need to bother again this time

well, it seems Haruka didn't want to be kicked in the face then huh

but shishi was out of ideas, she kicked

she did what he wanted

sure it was unfortunate that he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time 

what was she to do?

shishi timidly raised her leg up and then slowly back down to Haruka's dismay

he stood a few feet away watching her, recovering from the previous assault 

then shishi switched it up a bit because she felt she wasn't doing it right 

she did it a bit faster alternating between the two of her legs

and to Haruka's delight he was actually surprised she was making smooth progress

she was kicking correctly

of course, she barely mastered the basics of swimming but this is shishi we're talking about

after a few more minutes of shishi's kicking and splashing about Haruka told her she could stop

"i pass???!?!"

"Yes."

"WOOWYES :star_struck:"

"Let go of the edge."

"ok" she let go and started to sink but managed to tread and keep herself afloat
