i'd like start this chapter off with a little message to shishi,

you're a absolute idiot

that is all.

after more necessary moments of regret and rethinking, shishi tearfully walked into the stairway as the last ounce of sunlight crept out from afar and faded into oblivion. though, the city lights illuminated most areas in neon light pleasantly.

the darkness made shishi notice the few dingy lightbulbs that lined the stairwell in a scattered manner.

it did feel kind of gross in that stairwell, empty and dirty. with a sense of uncanniness and eeriness.

shishi shuffled warily down the staircase and then quickly found herself met with a door. the door had a rough lever handle type of knob and some age.

there was another turn but after half more of a wall it ended.

shishi was considering opening the door when she heard movement and inaudible talking from behind the door.

she rested her foot on the first step to go back up the stairs but when she heard the door opening from behind her she bolted to the turn beside the door and hid.

it sounded like

3?

no

6?

17?

17 people??

haha, nah how would shishi be advanced enough to conclude such a thing in the state she's in

at the very least though, 2 people.

shishi can make out 2 peoples voices echoing through the stairways terrible acoustics

a male and a female

the male's voice sounds kind of familiar

hmm

he sounds happy, charismatic even. talking a lot whereas the female is saying things far and few between

ack, i swear

that guy's voice to shishi...

sounds real familiar

a real recognizable voice.

of course, im aware of who this fellow is

but i wouldn't spoil a surprise

unlike shishi

well, it's only a matter of time.
