shishi gets rejected

shishi awakes.

she is once again being thrown around by violent forces!!

in a constant state of noticing lack of air, attempting to breathe, and swallowing more water and making it harder on herself.

shishi, i appreciate your will to live but the execution...

sigh.

digging for a answer, she recalls her "redo theory"

the idea that she's redoing that interaction with Gigi, Gambit, and Stalker

shishi smirks.

and then continues swallowing water and gasping for air

she hears people talking from above

the muffled murmuring! Gambit and Stalker! 

for someone drowning, shishi is quite smug.

and according to shishi's calculations, she should black out just about now...

her sight begins to fade

just before all of her sight is lost, a blurry figure approaches her

there is a slight splash and then she blacks out completely.

 drowsy and confused, shishi "awakes" to repetitive splashing and the occasional water droplets sprinkling on her

the air is salty and something smells almost like chemicals.

almost like cleaning supplies.

shishi goes through this sudden strong feeling of repulse

there's something wrong, she can feel it but what the hell is it...

shishi's socks are absolutely utterly drenched 

and her shoes as well

it is a horrifying sight. 

shishi hastily whips her foot in the air as an attempt to shake it off, her shoes launch a couple yards away

relieved but not satisfied, she yanks her socks off and throws them in the direction her shoes flew

she is more peaceful now.

she attempts to get up

shishi tries to pick herself up but the moment she sets her palms on the ground she looses her footing [wordplay not intended, shh]. the ground is slippery, it's wet.

and tiles? the ground is tiles.

shishi continues to fail at standing up, losing her grip and falling every time

darn it!

using the little core strength she has, shishi gets herself into a position where her knees and palms are hammered into the ground and that is the only position that doesn't send her tumbling.
