XVII - THE GOLDEN RULE

Y/N left the dorm and sat on her car. She drank empty the bottle of water she took before leaving. Closed her eyes a bit and started the engine. She has to do more than just denying now... "Maybe avoiding will work." She told herself.

She arrived home and checked her phone and saw Jimin's message. She responded and said she's home safe and said goodnight not wanting to talk about the earlier event. She also saw RM's message looking for her because she suddenly disappeared. She responded explaining she wasn't feeling too well and apologized for leaving without saying goodbye. They exchanged goodnights and she signed off.

She washed up, drunk some sprite then went off to bed. She doesn't want to do anymore thinking. She'll avoid him at all cost.

The next morning, she woke up with a massive headache. Luckily its Sunday and she has no appointment that she has to set. She can just stay at home. The boy's schedule for today is also clear to make sure they can enjoy the night before.

She recalled the conversation she and Jimin had.
"EARTH! SWALLOW ME!" She said loudly and let out a groan after.

"YOU CANNOT FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR BIAS NO MATTER WHAT! THAT IS THE GOLDEN RULE!
On top of that, you are their staff!"

Every word is said with heavy conviction while repeatedly clapping her palms on her face then burried her face on it after. She better get her acts straight or she'll suffer like hell.

While intensely closing her eyes, Yoongi's reaction before she left flashed back making her head ache even more. She let out out a loud "UUUUUGH!" Stood up and went back to her room. She decided to sleep again.

At Tannies dorm, Jimin is lying on the sofa looking at his phone with a very serious face. Yoongi saw him as he is about to go to the kitchen.

Yoongi: Something wrong?

Jimin almost jumped off the sofa in surprise. "Nothing, hyung. Just waiting for Y/N's reply."

"She got home safe last night?" Yoongi asked heading to the kitchen.

"Yes." Jimin's brief response while still looking at his phone. Seeing that Y/N is still offline and might not be available anytime soon, he decided to join Yoongi at the kitchen.

Yoongi: You and Y/N had a good talk last night?

Jimin: Yeah... Well, not really. It was fun until...

Yoongi: Hmm? *looked at Jimin briefly when he noticed he stopped*

Jimin: Well, until she got drunk. Hahaha *almost like a fake laugh.*

He lied. Why did he lie?

Yoongi: What's with that pout? *Seeing his not getting any response, he continued.* You two seem to be very close?

Jimin answered immediately to avoid whatever Yoongi will say next. "RM and her are pretty close, too."

"Yes, but that's no question since given the fact they constantly have to communicate. RM being the leader and Y/N checking schedule if followed each time." Yoongi with a lengthy reply.

Jimin: She's cute. That's all. Can I have what you are drinking, please? *changing the topic hoping that Yoongi will get it.*

Yoongi understood the cue so he stopped.
To be honest, he is dying to know what made Y/N smile that much. He's curious how Jimin is able to make Y/N talk to him that comfortably. He wanted to know. But his respect reigns.
