XIX - Did he hear it?

A few days later at Tannies music studio, Namjoon was busy on his phone and Jimin caught a glimpse of who he was messaging. Jimin had a clue that Y/N has to meet him today. So when everyone left he stayed behind with the leader.

Namjoon: Aren't you going yet?

Jimin: You're meeting her right?

Namjoon a little confused who he was referring to at first but caught up right away. "Yes. She'll be here in a bit."

Jimin: If she ask, just say we all left.

Namjoon got confused again but agreed anyway.

At the basement, Yoongi was looking for Namjoon and Jimin. V answered...
"I think they're still in the studio."

Hobi: I think Y/N will be coming.

Yoongi: I see. You guys go ahead. I forgot something.

Everyone just nodded since Yoongi walked out so fast, his direction towards the elevator.

Yoongi: What the heck am I doing?

Asking himself while entering the elevator.

A few minutes has passed and someone knocked. Namjoon stood up to unlock the door whilst Jimin moved his chair at the corner hiding himself from whoever arrived.

Y/N: Hi, Joonie! Sorry it took me a while. I had to drive back here.

Namjoon: Come in, Y/N Noona. * looking at Jimin's direction*

Y/N followed his gaze and saw Jimin smiling at the corner. Y/N got so excited that she ran to him and hugged him

Y/N: Jiminieee! I missed you!
*tight hug but immediately let go*
Wait, why are you here. I thought Joonie said you all left.

Jimin: Because you were avoiding me.

Y/N: what?! I wasn't. Who told you that??? *pinched Jimin's cheeks*

Jimin blushed and wasn't able to respond. Y/N didn't notice because she turned to Namjoon who was fondly watching them. He showed him the changes and when they should travel to that out of town location. She asked for particular instructions.

Namjoon: Not that I could think of. But I can ask them later. Jimin, do you have anything to add? *looked at Jimin who's smiling while staring at Y/N.*

Jimin: Nothing. I trust Y/N with her capacity.

Y/N: hahahaha! But I still have to know if you have some important matters that I should consider.

Jimin: Well, nothing for me. *smiling like he's seducing somebody*

Namjoon: I just realize, Jiminshi. You do not call Y/N, Noona..

Jimin answered with a hint of panic "I sometimes, do."

Y/N: Hahahaha! That's no big deal for me.

Namjoon: But you are older than all of us 7. I mean, you are a year older than Jin Hyung so we should always address you as Noona.

Y/N: Respect is not just on titles. It's mostly on how you treat them. And I feel your respect so I don't really care.

Jimin: Also, she looks younger than all of us. Even younger than Jungkook.

Y/N: What? No! Jungkook will always be that baby. Just prolly my height.

And them three laughed.

After confirming everyting, they decided to call it a night. Namjoon decided to stay behind a bit to check one last thing while Jimin decided to walk with Y/N to the basement. Jimin asked what he's been dying to know...

Jimin: Y/N, now that I am sure I wasn't the one you were avoiding, does that mean you are avoiding Yoongi hyung?

Y/N stopped on her tracks briefly then immediately continued. And answered "Silly... Like I've said, I wasn't avoiding anybody..." the attempt to sound convincing evidently failed.

Jimin: I don't think so. You're voice says it all. I mean, you've been with us for almost a year now. We've practically became friends... So, I can kinda tell if something's change.

Y/N: What? I am not avoiding you or Yoongi or anyone. It just so happened that I need to be out of town more often. Your project is starting in a week. I have to make sure nothing's delaying it. I mean, the first 2 days with you guys was still my nightmare.

Jimin still not convinced threw the other question he wants or needs an answer to.
"Is this about the Whiskey or Coffee thought?"

At this point, Y/N's soul almost left her body that she suddenly walked very fast.

Y/N: You silly kid. I said nothing's going on. This is not about that whiskey and coffee thing nor am I avoiding Yoongi.

Jimin's got stuck on the word KID and complained...
"Kid? Who's the kid?"

And they continue bickering until they've reached the basement.
