XXI - What kind of game is this?

Time Skip...

Today is the day Tannies will have to leave for an out of town location but Yoongi wasn't in the meeting place yet. Sejin is on the phone with Y/N who is now panicking and rushing to Yoongi's studio.

The day before, Yoongi stayed at his music lab and that night, he called Namjoon to switch vans with him cause he has to stay a little while more before proceeding to the location. Namjoon is supposed to go with Y/N and Sejin in the same van but Yoongi asked if he can have Y/N to stay with him because he might need her to adjust the schedule for him.

Without thinking so much to it, Namjoon agreed and this morning, Sejin had no choice but to let Yoongi stay along with Y/N behind for a while.

Jimin sensed something's not right but didn't say anything. They all left leaving Yoongi who was still at his music lab.

At the music lab. Y/N arrived and knocked. Yoongi unlocked the door and Y/N saw bags packed and other instruments. Her worry died down a bit. At least she's now sure that Yoongi will come.

Y/N: you called for me? *she asked with a nervous tone*

It's been a while since she saw him. Well actually, she saw him a couple of times from a far but always chooses not to cross paths with him. And now, he's just an arm's length and it's only the two of them.

And what's this? He dyed his hair black, with black coat on and black inner turtle neck shirt. And, OMG, he has his iconic glasses on.

Yg: Good morning to you, too. *intentionally stressing on good morning while his back is facing Y/N*

Y/N, a little startled, answered "Good morning, PD Min."

Yoongi's jaw hardened and in his mind "There is that again... That formal tone and remarks. She isn't like this with Namjoon and Jimin. I am still 2 years younger than she is." But he made sure not to let that out. So he calmly offered Y/N a drink.

Yg: Want coffee?
*he stood up even without waiting for Y/N's response*
Hot americano, right?

Y/N: Ye-yes...

She wanted to prepare it on her own but she's just too nervous to move. If breathing wasn't a requirement, she would skip it, too. Then her eyes fell on a glass with dark colored drink but has some ice in it.

Y/N: You're drinking iced americano this early?

Yg: oh that? Haha.. That's actually whiskey on the rocks.

Y/N: huh? A hard liquor this early?
*her tone with so much surprise*

Yg: Well, I've been drinking lots of coffee the entire night. I think I need something to calm me down. Also, it has ice so it is no longer that strong.

Y/N: Really? Is that how it works. I thought it's as strong either way.
*her eyes still on the glass of whiskey*

She's just too amused that she didn't even notice how untensed she is talking to Yoongi and that Yoongi is answering her every question without sarcasm or anything that she usually hears.

In short, they're having a normal conversation which is not normal between them at all.

Yg: Well, not really but that's how I view it. You wanna try?

Y/N: Uhm, not really. I'm just a bit surprised to see you having whiskey this early. I mean, I am used to seeing you holding either a glass of Americano or whiskey. But a whiskey at 06:30am is new to me.

Yg: *Chuckles* well, I do this often specially if I stayed up all night for a project and I have to calm down after. Or if I am thinking of something.

Y/N: Prolly both at this moment? I heard you encountered a problem?

Y/N accepted the drink Yoongi handed her without noticing what it is. She is now seating at the sofa. She just got so engrosed at this new moment they have. Having a normal conversation.

Yg: Hmmm, actually, I just made a series of stupid mistakes. *scratching his head while saying it softly*

Y/N: A Yoongi making a mistake? And a stupid one at that... 2 surprising facts in one morning, huh! *almost came out as sarcasm but amusement on her face is much more evident*

She took a sip on the drink and realized it wasn't coffee.
