XXXIII - YOONGI: "I like you..."

He was lost for a moment. Jimin knew this but hearing it is a different story. But hasn't he decided already?

Jimin: Hyung, I'm glad to hear that.

Forcing himself to smile before he continued.

Jimin: Namjoon hyung, we had a talk last night. Well, he knows everything.
*chuckles*
Very keen observer.

He leaned forward placing his arms on his knees clasping his hands together.

Jimin: He was right though, I know this is a losing game for me. I know who she likes. And I know it's not me.
*sadly admits defeat*

Silence... He clears his throat, looks at the older before speaking again.

Jimin: Hyung, it might not seem like it now but I am trully happy for you. It's been a while since I've seen you open your heart. I mean, after your ex, it looked like you hated the thought of even just admiring an opposite sex.
*faint smile and sad eyes on his face*

Yoongi was looking at him intently... He sighed before answering.

Yoongi: I never intended to compete with you. I didn't even think I'd still get interested. And of all people, it's one careless, clumsy girl.

Jimin: But dependable, independent and hardworking.

They looked at each other and laughed.

Jimin: Hyung, you made the right choice. You picked the right person to try again.

This time, with a wide genuine smile.

Jimin: I'll step aside because I know I am not who she wants. But, if you will not make a move soon, I might snatch her.
*standing up, fixing himself, started walking*

Yoongi's gaze followed Jimin as he walks away. He just admires how matured he grew up.
Sorry, Jiminie. Hyung will be selfish just for now. Yoongi thought to himself while looking at the younger.

He let's out a deep sigh while shifting his gaze to the beautiful mountain scenery that's in front of him. He smiles as he decided to take a step further.

But first, he has to talk to Sejin and Namjoon. He stood up and looked for them.

10:30 am, brunch time.

Y/N is sleeping in their quarters. She was woken up by loud knocks which made her jump from her bed.

Y/N: One moment! Omg! Istg, if there's no fire, I'm gonna ki...

She stopped the moment she saw who was knocking loudly.

Yoongi: Are you gonna sleep your ass off the whole day? Didn't you have coffee this morning?

Why is he so irritated? She thought before answering.
Y/N: Sorry, P-, uhm, Yoongi. I fell asleep while making arrangements. Anything I can do for you?

She is trying to sound so apologetic evwn when she herself is so irritated.

Yoongi: Come out and eat. I cooked something for you. Nothing's left from the breakfast they prepared.

Y/N's jaw dropped. Wtf! He woke me up for this? I was planning to not eat til lunch. Idk if I should be happy or should I snap at him for waking me up!

Y/N: You woke me up for this?

Yoongi: I woke you up to feed your lazy ass. Also, we have to talk about sonething. *without looking at her*

They are on their way to the mess hall. No one dared to talk again. When they got there, Y/N saw a set of hearty breakfast set on the table. Her mouth watered the moment she saw burnt toasted bread, melted butter on top of a pancake, sunny side up with soft cooked yolk and hot cafe latte. On top of that, there are sliced oranges and strawberry on the side.

Y/N: You prepared all of these?

Her eyes widened, glimmering while giving Yoongi a questioning look.

Yoongi scratched his forehead before answering a somewhat embarassed "Yes".

Y/N: Uhm... What's the occassion? *taking her sit*

Yoongi: Can't you just eat? *annoyed*

Y/N: Would you mind not being grumpy for a sec while talking to me? I'll eat if you do that.

Yoongi sighed then answered "I'll try." And sat across Y/N...

Y/N: *ehem* You'll gonna watch me eat?

Yoongi: Yes...

Y/N: ok... I do not understand what's going on but I want to know how you knew these are my favorite?

Yoongi: I... Uhm... I asked around. *avoiding her gaze*

Y/N: ok... Now I'm convinced that something's going on. What is it?
*placed her fork down*
I am not eating until you tell me...

Yoongi: I like you...
