XXXIX - She's gone again

The next morning...

Everyone was very busy preparing the set. Y/N rearranged their schedule and because there were delays prior, she has to schedule most of the shooting earlier than what was originally set. She did inform Sejin and Namjoon and apologized in advance. But they said they understood.

"PA Lin? How's Y/N? Is she still not feeling well?" Yoongi asked after scanning around and not seeing her.

"She left at dawn with Mr. Jung. She said she has to go back to the city for some important matters." PA Lin answered while checking on the long list Y/N left her.

Namjoon who heard Yoongi's query tapped him on the shoulder then said "Let's start, Hyung. Maybe she needs some time alone."

Yoongi, though having mixed emotions as of the moment, decided to focus. He'll talk to her soon. But first, they have to finish everything in 3 days without additional delays.

3 DAYS LATER...

They've already packed up. Tannies are now in their assigned vans. Yoongi is at the back seat his head on the headrest with eyes closed.
He's getting impatient but decided not to say anything. His been waiting for this day.

It's past midnight when they've reached the city which made his frustration worse. The whole time during the travel, he was just quiet and no one dared to talk to him or bother him unless it's a VERY important matter.

As soon as they reached Tannies' dorm, he went to his room, washed up quickly and lied down to his bed. He checked his phone for the nth time.

What makes things even worse is that she hasn't replied to any of his messages. At first, he was thinking that she needs more time and that she also wants them to focus. But what excuse can he tell himself now when he knows that she knows that they've completed their schedule?

He closed his eyes. His emotionally and mentally tired. He's been overthinking since they left the location. All negative thoughts running through his head when he drifted.

He woke up with his phone ringing. He excitedly picked it up but to his dismay, it's not the person he wants to talk to.

"Namjoon, why are you calling?" he answered a bit irritated.

"Hyung, sorry to wake you up but Y/N is asking if you have any pending project to work on. [western artist name] e-mailed her requesting to arrange a meeting with you." Namjoon answered nervously.

"Let her call me." authoritarian voice.

"Hyung, I'm afraid I can't force her to do that." Namjoon spoke in a low tone but imperative.

Yoongi sighed heavily and just decided to give up. "Tell her, I have to keep my free time for the entire week. I do not want any additional solo schedule other what we already had prior."

He can't let this week pass without fixing things with her. It's causing him his job. He cannot focus. He's supposed to finalize a song he is making for a new album but decided to sleep again.

The next thing he knew, it's already dinner time and Hoseok woke him up.

"Hyung, wake up. You haven't eaten the whole day."

"hmmm... Ok... I'll follow.." He said lazily. He got up went out completely ignoring his surroundings.

The others are now worried because he has been melancholic this past few days...
