Zarah smiled feeling the touch of her husband as he encircled his arms in her neck, nuzzling under her ear-his usual habit as she was coming to know. The chirping of birds could be heard from the distance as the setting sun was painting the sky with the beautiful mixture of orange and purple. It was becoming her routine to sit here watching the beautiful setting sun after coming from the hospital and waiting for her husband to come from his work.
"Missed me?"

"More than you." Zarah answered with a smile, seeing the slightly tired face of Ryan as he took his seat just beside her on the arm of her chair, his arm around her shoulders to keep her to himself.

It was already been one week to their wedding and Zarah was not getting tired of thanking her Lord for bestowing this man as her husband. Ryan was loving, caring and most of all-feared his Lord. He had confessed that he was just learning about his religion because some time earlier he didn't know anything about it and now it was all new to him and he wanted her help. The respect she had for Ryan moved to some more new extent when he said those words, he had no shame in accepting his weakness and it was her pleasure to teach him about Allah and Islam.

Ryan smiled hearing her answer, playing with her fingers as his thumb leisurely caressed her ring finger. "You know I have a confession to make." Zarah nodded keeping the files in her lap on the coffee table in front of her and fixing her whole attention to her husband, "Earlier I used to close myself in my cabin in work until the midnight just because I feared to be alone in this house but now I just want to reach home as early as possible because I can't wait to see you."

She bit her lower lip due to the overwhelming emotions which gathered around her heart hearing his words as Ryan's hand caressed her hair line near her temple, soothing her senses. Her body was nothing but a thesaurus of antonyms, at one part Ryan's words were making her heart dance with a jiggle and on other side, his touch was keeping her calm.

"Won't you say anything?"

"You always make me silent with your words."

"Only with words?" Ryan asked with fake a questioning gaze and she knew what he was implying at with that mischievous grin so Zarah just playfully elbowed his gut, resulting an amused wince from him.

"Zarah." His voice was husky as he called her, strumming her heart to no end and when she looked at him, his eyes were raking on her features as if he was looking at her for the first time and was awestruck.

Ryan held the back of her head gently just to keep her in place as he put his lips on hers in a chaste manner; Zarah cupped the side of his face to return his adoration, peppering his lips with her shy kisses. The sun shied away from the couple by putting a shade to cover them from the rest of the world as she placed a barely there kiss on his jugular vein, smiling in the kiss when Ryan chuckled-she had found his tickling point.

Just don't hold my hand else I won't be responsible for the consequences.

Something went off in her mind which made her stop for a split second. It felt like a voice spoke those words with a blurry image, but what was it? She didn't remember anything like that but what were those words and how did they come all of a sudden?

"Hey, something wrong?" Ryan asked putting a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his voice holding concerns for her as she just shook her head with a tight lipped smile. She too wasn't sure what was happening, how could she tell him?

"Okay I'll just change. Let's go out for a dinner."Ryan said patting her cheek and moved inside leaving her stuck with questions revolving in her mind.

An important file needed his attention, he needed to look through it for some corrections, he needed to sign it but what he was doing?

He was busy in staring at his wife who was putting a lotion on her hands, her back to him and he could only see her reflection through the dressers' mirror. But her reflection was equally beautiful, Ryan was getting used to see her everyday and every time it felt like he was getting luckier to have Zarah in front of him.

They were getting comfortable in each others' vicinity and he was loving this new journey called marriage. This time it was Zarah's clothes which had grabbed his attention, she had never wore such type in front of him. Though it was a decent piece, silk pyjama top with half sleeves and ankle length bottom but he was feeling giddy seeing her like this. A waist length braid placed on her back was just adding much more to her simple beauty.

A coldness of something on his nose brought him back to the present as Ryan saw Zarah standing in front of him with the lotion bottle in her hands. "Thought to check up on you as you were staring at me from half an hour." She said with an amused smile as he wiped the lotion off from his nose.

"So..." Ryan asked pulling Zarah in his lap earning a low gasp from her as the bottle dropped down from her hands with a thump,"How am I doctor? Do I need some medicines?"

Zarah shook her head with a laugh as she encircled her arms around his neck, "Such a cheesy man." She said pinching his cheek while Ryan caged her waist in his arms, his fingers gently caressing the fabric at her slim waist.

"Ryan, I wanted to ask you something?" Zarah's voice was slightly shaking maybe the effect of the kisses he was placing in the hollow between her neck and shoulder. He just nodded his head with a hum for her to carry on, feeling like he was drowning in some kind of weird magic.
"I got this weird memory, we were having an unusual argument. I was warning you to stay away from me and not to hold my hand. But we didn't fight ever so how that can be possible?"

Ryan's heartbeats felt like stuck on Zarah's words as he took a long sigh of anticipation, an attempt to calm down his shivering being. She had started having memories about her life that too related to him.

"I don't...don't know. Maybe..." Ryan moved a hand in his hair and looked in Zarah's confused eyes, "Maybe you saw some dream. Or just imagined something."

"I don't think so." Zarah said, her eyes furrowed in thought as her fingers unintentionally caressed his earlobe. Ryan wetted his chapped lips as his throat went parched in need of water. The worry about Zarah sucking every single drop of fluid in his body.

"Can you give me a glass of water?" He requested and Zarah nodded with a smile, moving away from his embrace not before patting his cheek.

He couldn't tell her about the past because the doctors had advised everybody to let Zarah remember everything naturally and secondly, he was scared. He didn't hold a good impact on that Zarah of before accident and getting that memory back, maybe she would leave him. That was the most dreadful thing for him, a thought he never wanted to have, a reality he didn't want to face.
