The kitchen filled with an aroma of brewing coffee as Zarah poured the batter of omelette in the pan. Today was Sunday, first holiday after their wedding and after they had joined their works. She wanted this breakfast to be special for Ryan and by the time he was sleeping, she could prepare many things.

Zarah chose a fine set of plates to serve the dessert and set it on the dining table. Her hand quickly gripped the chair as her vision blurred all of a sudden, something moving before her eyes. A chill of pain seemed to be running in her head as a picture moved before her.

Two people were sitting at the dining table having their meal. 'I was famished from today morning, let me eat as I want.' The voice crawled in her mind as Zarah tried to get a grip on herself, it felt like that voice was hers and that man sitting in front of her was Ryan. But how could it be? They never had this type of talk. Why her mind was creating weird memories that too with so much pain?

A hand on her shoulder made her breath hitched as she looked to see Ryan looking at her with concern. His eyes widened while his thumb gently wiped her tears, "What happened, Zari? Are you alright?"

She quickly moved in his embrace, feeling weak all of a sudden. Ryan caressed her hair, kissing her forehead. Zarah didn't want to cry but her tears had started making his shirt wet as low weeps moved out of her lips.

"Ryan, I don't know what is happening to me. I'm getting these weird memories and that too with terrible headache. Am I going mad?"

"Shhh..." Ryan cupped her face, looking in her eyes. "Nothing is happening to you. I'm here, I will not let anything happen to you. Do you want to visit the doctor?"

His words held so much truth that her whole worry moved into thin air. Zarah shook her head, her hands playing with his shirt buttons. It was their first holiday together after a long time and she didn't want to waste it while sitting at the waiting chair of the hospital. Ryan patted her cheek and pecked her lips, "Let's have our breakfast."

Zarah nodded in a clumsy manner, her hand holding Ryan's sleeve to support herself as with every passing moment she lost her consciousness. Just before closing her eyes, she saw Ryan's worried face and then she fainted.

Ryan gulped looking at the closed door of the observation room where doctors had taken Zarah for the check up. It was all too quick and sudden, now he was just praying that she wouldn't get her memories back.

That was why Allah tells everytime to behave in a good way with everyone. You never know how your destiny will turn. Ryan was away from all these teachings, if he knew he would never behave like that with Zarah. She was hurt with his behavior and if she got her memories back, she would clearly think all these things as a facade.

But he loved her immensely. The stars were less in the night sky than his love for Zarah. The thought of her leaving him was dreadful and he didn't want to think about it. His mind was stuck between Zarah's health and in the worry of Zarah getting her memories back.

"So you are not stopping?"

He asked as Zarah just shook her head, trying to control her laughter-her face getting red with every passing moment because of her attempts.

That was not a big deal or a thing to laugh about. Okay, some bits were but not this much as Zarah was laughing. Ryan had just shared that Hamida used to love his hair and that was why she always braided his hair into two pony at either side, turning him into a girl.

"Means seriously Ryan. You expect me to not laugh at this." Zarah asked clutching her stomach, her voice coming in pants-tears gathering in her eyes due to extreme laughing.

They had just gotten into bed and Zarah was moving her fingers in his hair while Ryan was playing with small bead of her bangle. Didn't know how those talks moved to his childhood and that too to that braiding event and now his wife couldn't stop laughing.

"I perfectly know how to stop your laugh." Ryan warned holding her wrist and pushing Zarah on the bed, resulting a squeal out of her. She was watching him with a smile on her face which was gently turning into giggles every now and then.

He was mesmerized to see her, that beautiful face which was only his. Only he had the right to see her like this, so closely and only he had the right to show her how much love he possessed for her. Ryan moved his face closer to hers, his thumb slowly removing her lower lip from the cage of her teeth earning a gasp from her.

Ryan kissed her lips in a serene manner, smiling in the kiss as Zarah returned it with equal fervor as if she was waiting for it from so many centuries. Her hands cupped the side of his face while the other hand grazed his neck then hid in his hair, her fingers caressing his roots.

"I'm afraid to lose you."

Was it the pleasure of being with Zarah or the mesmerism of his wife that he lost the track of his words? He had no grip what words left him but his heart jerked at its place thinking about Zarah's reaction but she looked at him confused.

"I'm too." She smiled after a while, removing a fringe from his eyes as he tilted his head a little so as their noses were touching, "I can't thank Allah enough that he gave me you. I'm too afraid to lose you, Ryan Ahmed."

"Mr. Ryan Ahmed. Your wife has gotten consciousness."

Ryan quickly stood up and ran towards the room without paying any heed what the doctor was saying or not even bothering that he was calling him. He just wanted to see Zarah now!
