Recap

"Girl, you need to open your prezzies from your parents." Aria pointed out walking over to Athena's bed.

"Yea, this is our favourite part about your birthday. Your parents always get you such nice gifts." Cassie agreed as she come out from behind the divider.

"Most of the time." Athena laughed.

"Right let's see what you got me this year, Lucius and Narcissa." Athena giggled, sitting down on the edge of her bed as the other two sat cross-legged on the floor in front of her.

Athena picked up the card off of the top of one of the boxes and cracked open the family seal before pulling out the card and reading it aloud to the girls.

Dear Athena,

Happy 17th birthday, our precious little girl. We can't believe 17 years with you has flown by so quickly and how much you've grown. You have become the most beautiful and mature young woman and we are both so proud of you. You never fail to amaze us.

Your father and I hope you have a wonderful day and like your presents which are filled with all our thought and love for you. Lots of love, hugs and kisses, my dear.

Mother and Father x

P.s. You will find your father's response to your letter also enclosed in the envelope.

She missed off the little message at the end and put the card back in the envelope, wanting to read it privately later.

"Aw bless. Your mother is so adorable, Aj." Aria smiled.

"Does she want any more kids because I'm willing to be adopted?" Cassie questioned, almost too seriously.

"Me too." Aria nodded.

"Ari. Cass. If you were to be adopted by my parents, you would want to get with your brother and cousin." Athena pointed out.

Both girls sighed heavily before they burst into a fit of giggles.

"Yea, never mind then," Cassie said after a while.

Athena picked up the biggest of the four boxes which was thin, but long and wide.

She lifted the lid off of the top of it, finding some grey tissue paper. As she unwrapped the paper, she revealed some clothes.

On the top of the pile was a tie, plain black and thin, but it had a pin with a silver cross on a chain dangling from it for decoration. Underneath that was a black skirt with a belt pre-wrapped around the waist. It was high wasted and had extra buckles and a small moon and star to one corner at the front which was in white. The last thing she took out was a black shirt, long-sleeved with fake pockets on both the arms and on the chest. It too had an extra buckle which was over one of the shoulders.
