(A MUCH NEEDED) Recap:

"And what are you so happy about?" Snape snarled as he looked up from his desk.

Athena put her fingers on her lips before walking into the classroom, shutting and locking the door behind her, and making her way to his desk.

She grabbed a stool on her way and dragged it to the other side of his desk and sat opposite him, leaning forward to put her elbows on the desk and smiled toothily.

"Now that you have made yourself comfortable and locked the door, care to share why you're so happy about your detention?" Snape sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

He very clearly didn't want to be there and regretted his decision to give her detention the whole week already.

"Oh, don't pretend your not happy to see me, sir. Besides I have some information for you that I think you're going to like."

"Oh, really?" He said as he mimicked her actions and smirked. "Then please do entertain me, Malfoy."

------------------------------------------------

"First things first. I know that you're a death eater."

Snape gave Athena a horrid look and cast a spell to soundproof the room before replying to her statement.

"I think you'll find that I was a death eater, Malfoy. Anyway that is none of your concern, I am and have been a trusted employee of Albus Dumbledore for years now."

"Oh come on, Snape. I'm not stupid and my father is Lucius Malfoy for Godric's sake. You still work for the dark side whilst fooling Dumbledore into thinking you work for him by feeding him false information."

"That is a rather serious insinuation, but if you're so sure, prove it."

Athena grabbed Snapes left arm from across the desk and lay it face up on top. She then pushed up his sleeve revealing his mark.

"I believe you might have been experiencing some trouble with this recently?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I have but that doesn't prove anything. Once someone accepts the mark from the dark lord they cannot remove it. It is permanent. In a way, it's sort of like a sacrifice." He responded, trailing off.

She knew he was right on that one.

"Okay, what if I told you there was another loyal death eater in the castle right now requiring your help."

Snape sat still for a moment, staring into her eyes.

"You cannot class yourself as a death eater because of your heritage." He smirked.

"Not me, you fool. Though I am quite glad you would think me as such. And stop trying to read my mind, it doesn't work and you'll just end up straining yourself and have a headache. Anyways no, I mean Bartimus Crouch." Athena rolled her eyes and got up as she began to pace around the room.

"Bartimus Crouch Junior  was the loyal death eater, not his father who is staying in the building for the tournament. And i'll think you'll find that his son died in Azkaban a few months ago. You should really read the daily prophet before saying obvious things like that, you silly girl." Snape snapped as his eyes followed her around the room.

"I think you'll find that Bartimus Crouch Junior  is in fact still alive. He is posing as our newest defence against the dark arts teacher." Athena laughed, mimicking the way Snape said his name.

"Oh, yeah? And how am I supposed to believe that a man broke out of a prison that has only been broken out of once before in all its history, even though it was in the news that he died in his cell not long ago, and that one of the most feared and experienced aurors there is, just so happens to have been tricked into not showing up for his job so that this supposed dead death eater can do his job for him?" He yelled back at the smug looking witch.
