Recap:
"You no longer need to attend these detentions, I think a week was a little extreme anyway." He continued on when she didn't move.
She hesitantly reached for her bag which was by his feet and then made her way to the door.
"Athena."
She stopped in her tracks as she rested her hand on the doorknob. She looked over her shoulder at him and he still hadn't moved a muscle.
"You do realise that if anybody finds out about this, I will lose my job faster than you can think."
Athena breathed.
"You know I won't tell a soul, sir."
"Good."
And with that she left.

Athena walked back to her dorm lost in thought, also with a feeling of shame.
How could she have let herself kiss her teacher?
Like he said himself, it was wrong. She knew that if anyone found out he would be out of the castle faster than a snitch, as Snape had made very clear before she left. And of course she knew that anyway and immediately buttoned her shirt back up to the top.
But then she remembered how his lips felt on her skin. The thought of it alone made her crazy. The feeling of his tongue battling with hers. How he grasped onto her waist and pulled at her hair.
But it was wrong.
And it couldn't happen again.
Defiantly not.
Her legs carried her back to the common room while her mouth automatically muttered the password, her head was too far gone to realise what she was doing. She somehow made it up the stairs to her dorm room and pushed the door open.
"Someone's back late." Cassie instantly commented. "Ew, and what are you covered in, girly? You had too much fun with Snape tonight?"
Aria giggled from behind yet another book, but Athena did not reply or smile in the slightest.
She walked over to her trunk and got out some fresh pyjamas and a towel and locked herself in the bathroom.
She removed her shirt in front of the mirror and saw the damage he had done to her.
Athena's neck was covered in bruises, some still a vibrant red while others were beginning to turn a nasty shade of purple. Her hand reached up again and she outlined the marks with her fingertips. Before she new it, her eyes began to well up and tears spilled down her face.
What had she done?
Athena knew that it was her, and only her fault for getting into this situation. She felt sorry for her professor who was still probably stood at his desk in the position she left him in, worrying about what this could do to him and his reputation if it got out that he'd kissed a student. But she had initiated it. How could she?
Athena jumped into a piping hot shower to calm herself down. The water running down her body soothed her so she spent a lot of time just standing in place and letting it wash away her tears.
Once she got out maybe 30 or so minutes later, she put on her pyjamas, dried her hair and brushed her teeth. She stared at herself in the mirror for a few minutes, her eyes glancing at the visible marks he had left. She grabbed some concealer that was on the shelf and covered them up the best she could. After she had blended it out, it was as if they were never there and the whole thing never happened.
