Chapter Twelve

The two of you followed the duo of marines to an even smaller village outside of Nanohana. From afar you watched them load treasure along with other various goods onto a smaller boat. The both of you moved in closer hiding behind a few barrels, "So are we good?" Zoro asked.

"What?" You whispered. You were to focus on what was going on in front of you to even pay attention to the man, "I said are we good?" He enunciated. Turning in his direction, "Help me with this and then we'll be square." A smirk appears across his face, "Okay. Do I get rewarded?" He asked.

"Don't push it." You answered. He held his hands up innocently knowing not to press his luck an further.

"Please thats all the food we have to get by." A woman cried out. She held her children close to her as the tears pricked her eyes, "Surely you men can leave some at least for the children's sake." An older man spoke up. He slowly walked over to the men, "Please I beg of you to have some mercy on us."

Holding his hands together in a begging manner a marine came over and knocked the older man to the ground, "Tough shit old man. You know we have mouths to feed too."

"Also haven't you heard of sharing? We keep you people safe this is the least you guys can do." His friend added. He drew his sword, "Any more of you get out of line. Well just know it won't end well for you."

You stomach churned as the anger built up inside of you like a erupting volcano. You begin to clench your fist making Zoro notice he gently grabs it, "You got a plan?" "Nope." You reply. You slowly stand to your feet removing the hood and stepping from behind the barrels to the scene.

"YN! Hey! Wait .. whats the plan?" Zoro whispered. "Oh I was just going to beat the shit out of them until I got some answers." You reply walking over. So .. no plan then. "You can stay back I wont be gone to long." "I'm coming for supervision purposes." Zoro says trailing behind.

The group of people notice you, "Hey .. who is that?" A marine said. Innocently putting your hands up, "I come in peace." "State your business lady." The man said removing his sword from the older villager. Well now that the old man is safe.

Moving in closer, "I just thought you guys should know that you missed a few goods." You say. One of the squint their eyes at you, "Wait your that lady from earlier." It was fun playing along a lil.

In the blink of an eye you swipe your leg under him and brought your foot right down on his stomach knocking the man out cold. Everyone watched in awe especially the green haired man. Jesus that was so sexy. Im so going down on her tonight.

"Holy shit." His friend said. The man starts to run away while you let out a sigh, Why do they always run?

You kneeled down a pressed a finger on the bare ground letting a giant vine appear in front of the man. "W-What the hell?! She's a damn Devil Fruit user!" He screams running the opposite way. The vine swipes the man all the way into the ocean causing a big splash.
