Alsooo the fact that Dazai shared that toast 'To The Stray Dogs' with Atsushi. That proves he trusts him, maybe in a way cares for him as more than a subordinate. Tbh I'll be just as happy if Dazai calls Atsushi his friend. Because the idea of friendship is a very heavy concept to Dazai. It means he's going to try to care again, but it might take some time for him Because of what happened to Oda and Ango yk?
Oooo and did yk that Atsushi actually called Dazai by his first name?
