14. A NIGHTMARE

It's 3 in the morning, someone sneaked into Monami's room and went near her bed. He sat near Monami and caressed her head.

Suddenly, she started to wiggle in her sleep, she was shivering maybe out of fear. He saw this and tried to wake her up but no use.

She wasn't responding him. He didn't know what to do so, he just hugged her tightly. She was murmuring something and he heard it clearly...

Monami (Murmuring) - No.... Don't.... Don't hurt him.... I'll shoot you, don't hurt him.... Stay away from him.... No.... No no no, don't do this please.

He couldn't bear it anymore so, he again tried to wake her up and this time she responded. She woke up with a jerk and saw someone in from of her.

Person - Monami, are you okey?

Monami wasn't in her senses and she was scared after the nightmare she had.

Monami - Karan!!!

And she hugged him out of fear and need.

Monami - Karan.... Maine sach me kuch nahi kiya hai.... I didn't had any choice. Pata nahi ye nightmares mera pi6a kab chhodege.

She was crying and didn't know that she was hugging Karan whom she doesn't want in her life anymore.

Karan caressed her head lovingly to calm her down and said...

Karan - Shhh.... Shant ho jao, Monami. Mujhe batao kya dekha tumne?

Monami (Still crying) - Maine.... Maine kisipe goli chalayi aur vo insaan.... Aur vo insaan vahi.... Mar gya Karan.

Mere pass aur koi choice nahi thi Karan but.... It's a mental trauma for me now. He was going to shoot a child. It was a rescue operation and.... My first kill.

Karan understood her situation perfectly and tried to console her. He caressed her head lovingly and said...

Karan (Sweet tone) - Monami, tum kya mehsoos kar rahi ho, ye baat main ache se samajhta hu. Par tum to meri Miss. Fighter ho na to ye bhi samajh lo ke ab tum ek police officer ho, tumhara kam logo ko protect karna hai, hai na???

Monami nodded as if she's a child and he's her mother whose trying to make her understand something. Karan continued...

Karan - Tum agar ye socho ke tumhe uski jaan kyu leni padi to samajh aa jayega ke tumne jo kiya bilkul sahi kiya, hmm?

Monami again nodded but her mind has started to get clear of her position, that too, in front of Karan.

Monami left him and came out of her bed hurriedly. She looked like as if she has seen a ghost in front of her.

Monami (In her mind while looking at Karan) - Maine ye sab..... Ise kyu bataya? Main ye kya kar rahi hu? Kya mujhe fir se Karan pe bharosa hone laga hai.... Ya fir..... Bharosa hamesha se tha?

Monami was looking lost. She didn't know how to react in this situation. Karan saw that and he didn't want to make her situation more awkward. So, he said....

Karan - I'm sorry, Monami. Vo mujhe tumse kuch baat karni thi, isliye I came here.

Monami - To tum uske liye subhe tak ka wait nahi kar sakte the?

Karan - Kar sakta tha par..... Nahi kar paya. Tumse kuch discuss karna tha. Tum is room me akeli rehti ho isliye main aaya varna nahi aata. Baat important hai Monami.

Monami sighed and sat down on the bed. She said...

Monami - Idhar aao.

She called him near her. Karan was confused but still went near her. Monami pulled him down and made him sit beside her.

Monami - Ab tum mera pi6a to chhod nahi rahe ho, to thik hai bolo kya bolna hai?

Karan was going to say something but she again interrupted...

Monami - Aur haa, ye mat samajhna ke main sun rahi hu tumhari baat to manugi bhi..... Bolo ab.

Karan nodded in agreement and said...

Karan - Monami, main janta hu ke tum mujhse naraz ho aur shayad nafrat bhi karti ho but..... Main janta hu ke jo hua use tum bhula nahi sakti aur main tumhe bhulne ko bhi nahi kahunga but kya hum ek koshish bhi nahi kar sakte?

Monami was confused now. She didn't know what to say to that because she didn't understand at all. She said...

Monami - Tum kehna kya chahte ho, Karan?

Karan - Kya hum dosti se shuruaat nahi kar sakte? Jaise pehle ki thi?

Monami glared at him and said...

Monami (Angrily) - Get.... Out. Tumhe kya lagta hai Karan, tumne kaha aur main pi6li sab baate bhulkar aage badh jaugi? Itna aasan hai?

(Cryingly) Tum ab bhi mujhe nahi samajh rahe Karan. Mujhe dar lagta hai dubara tumhare sath rehne se. Tumhe fir gussa aa jayega aur tum fir se mujhe kuch bol doge, fir mujhe emotionally hurt kar doge. Main tumhara gussa ya frustration nikalne ke liye koi punching bag nahi hu.

Just leave Karan please. Main pehle hi bahot hurt ho chuki hu. Tumhare liye mere dil me jo hai vo kabhi nahi badlega. Maine pehle bhi tumse pyaar kiya hai aur aage bhi karti rahungi but main aur sehen nahi kar sakti ab. Tumne mujhe todkar rakh diya hai Karan Shergill.

And she sat down on the bed cryingly. Karan was again heartbroken seeing his Rani Sahiba so fragile. He left from there immediately with tears in his eyes.

It's 5:30 am now. Monami and Karan came down to check all the arrangements and security for the picnic and the investigation.

They came face to face. Monami observed him for a while and then said...

Monami - Karan, tumhari choice aaj bhi kapdo ke mamle me bahot hi boring hai. Chalo vapas apne room me, tumhare liye main jo shirt choose karugi, vo chupchap, bina kisi aawaz ke pehen lena.

She held his hand and tried to drag him towards his room. The whole team was there now except the recruits. They were shocked to see Monami so friendly with Karan.

Karan also was very much shocked because Monami is talking to him like his old Rani Sahiba. He looked at her questioningly and said...

Karan - Monami, tum kya....

Monami - Kyu? Tumhe hi dosti karni thi na to lo ban gai main tumhari dost. Ab ek dost dusre dost ki gandi choice pe atraaz to dikha hi sakta hai na? Chalo ab jaldi, we are getting late Mr. Bear.

And Monami took him with her to his room. All were shocked, very much surprised and very very very much happy. There were two persons, who knew everything about Monami's changed behaviour and attitude towards Karan and are very much happy now.

Lo ji la diya atleast Mr. Bear and Miss. Fighter ko ek sath aur ab bahot hi jald Karan aur Monami bhi sath aa hi jayege...😜😜😜

One thing is really bothering me, it's about Koel. Experience bahot hi ganda hai. I hope Karan jaldi kuch kare varna kal ke episode ka promo bahot hi ganda dikhaya tha. Monami backoff karnewali hai Karan se. Ye jankar main thodi si happy bhi hu aur tension me bhi. I hope Karan jaldi kuch kar le.
