Karan just hugged her from the side and caressed her forearm smilingly. She hugged him tightly. They entered inside Dr. Aman's cabin and Monami said...

Monami (To Aman) - Oye Chaturvedi... Tune cameras to lagva diye the na, jaisa maine bola tha?

Aman - Tu tension na le, Mahajan. Sab thik hi hoga aur ha... Tere kehne ke mutabik cameras lagva liye the... (Pointing at his laptop) Main abhi vahi dekh raha tha.

Karan (Looking at the live recording) - Any unusual activity till now?

Aman (Looking at the live recording) - Abhi to aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, Agent. Let's wait a bit. Mahajan ka koi bhi plan aaj tak khali ya fail nahi gaya hai... They were just talking but Monami was looking at the screen only. She saw a man going towards her father's ward with his men so, she just took out her gun and literally fired an order at Aman...

Monami (Pulling of the safety lock over the gun) - Chaturvedi, Papa ke ward ke aaspass ka area khali karva kisi bhi tarah...!!!

And she started to leave from there. Karan and Aman looked at the screen and Karan immediately followed Monami with a gun in his hand. On the other hand, Aman contacted the backup team and started to vacate the floor as much as he could.

When Monami and Karan reached near that group, one of them attacked on Monami but she moved backward from her place immediately and just punched him hard. Because of that sudden attack, he lost his balance, his head collided with the nearby wall and he fainted there.

On the other hand, Karan was fighting two of those men. He literally twisted one of their head and shot at the second man, took a headshot. Monami was going towards the leader but one of the men tried to stop her and in that process she lost a hold on her gun. When she tackled him down and tried to reach for her gun, she saw that their leader was entering inside her father's ward. She almost shouted...

Monami (Pointing at her father's ward) - KARAN...!!!

Karan understood and hurriedly entered inside the ward. He saw Dr. Mahajan on the floor. He was unconscious but fine. Karan saw the open window and went there to take a look. He saw that person running from there and gritted his teeth.

He went near Dr. Mahajan and made him lie down on the bed carefully. At that time, Monami entered inside. Karan said...

Karan (Looking at her) - Monami, tumhe kuch ajib nahi laga ye? I mean... Ye to Papa pe attack karne aaye the na? Lekin mujhe to Papa thik hi lag rahe hai. Ek baar tum check karona.

Monami also checked him but she didn't find anything odd with him. She asked...

Monami (Questioningly) - Papa to bilkul thik hai, to phir... (Looking at the open window) Us aadmi ke yaha aaneka maksad kya tha aakhir?

Suddenly, Monami thought of something and started to check her father's neck and throat region. She found a perticular mark on his neck which was because of an injection probably. She immediately called Aman inside and said...

Monami (In a hell scared tone) - Papa ka check up karva, Chaturvedi...!!! Lagta hai ke vo jo koi bhi tha vo yaha kisi tarah Papa ko khatam karne ke irade se hi aaya tha... Come on, quick...!!!

Aman immediately got on his work and nearly after one hour, the results came in. Aman was relaxed after going through those results. He said...

Aman (Smilingly) - Chill Mahajan... Senior Mahajan bilkul thik hai. Vo bas behosh karnewala injection tha yaar, aur kuch bhi nahi. Hum khamakha dar rahe the.

Monami and Karan took a deep breath of relief. After a second, Aman continued further...

Aman (Confusingly) - Magar mujhe ye samajh nahi aa raha hai ke agar vo Mahajan Uncle ko maarne hi aaye the to bina maare kyu chale gaye?... Aur agar naahi maarna tha ya naahi kidnap karna tha, to vo yaha aaye hi kyu the? Kya saabit karna ya batana chahte the? Ya phir tujhe chetavni dena chahte the, dhamki de rahe the...!!!

Karan and Monami were also thinking the same but no one knew the answers. Monami said...

Monami (Thoughtfully) - Ab vaha, us waqt, kya hua tha ye to sirf Papa hi samjha sakte hai aur isiliye hume unke hosh me aaneka wait karna hoga...!!!

Karan just squeezed her shoulder by putting a hand around her, to tell her that he will be with her, no matter how the situation gets worst.
