All laughed whole heartedly, seeing Sid's reaction, even Sanju. Monami said....
Monami (To Sid & Sanju) - Ab chalo jao, tum dono jakar fresh ho jao aur fir canteen aa jaana. Hum vahi se breakfast karke nikalege.
Karan - Aur tum sab log bhi jao ab. Jakar breakfast kar lo. Mera aur Monami ka breakfast already ho chuka hai.
All nodded and left from there. Monami started to go after them but Karan held her hand and pulled her towards him with a jerk. Monami bumped into his chest lightly and said...
Monami (Irritatingly) - Kya hai, Karan???
Karan - Oh hello Rani Sahiba, aap kaha ja rahi hai?
Monami (Casually) - Sabke sath aur kya???

Karan stood against the edged wall of the terrace. Karan turned Monami in the opposite direction and put his chin on her shoulder. Monami put her hand on Karan's cheek and said....
Monami (Lovingly) - Kya hua, Karan? Kya baat karni hai tumhe?
Karan (A little hesitantly) - Monami, ek baat saaf - saaf bataogi???
Monami - Tum bolo to sahi....
Karan (Hesitantly) - Mujhe tumhare Papa ke baare me baat karni thi.... Tumne vapas aakar unke baare me to kuch kaha hi nahi hai.
Monami was playing with his fingers but stopped listening this and said....
Monami (Trying to avoid this topic) - Chhodo na Karan. Mujhe is baare me baat nahi karni.
Karan turned her towards himself slowly and said...
Karan (Making her look at him) - Monami, main yaha kyu hu? Main tumhare liye hu yaha, to batao... Kya problem Hui hai, varna tum apne Papa ke baare me baat karna avoid nahi karti. Tum pehle to mujhse kabhi kuch share karne se pehle sochti nahi thi na.... To ab kyu sochna???
Monami stood there hugging Karan. Her head was on his chest. Karan was caressing her hair. Monami spoke up....
Monami (Getting a little teary) - Jab main yaha se ghar vapas gai thi tab mujhe laga tha ke Papa mujhe datege, taane maarege but nahi.... Pata nahi aisa kya ho gya tha itne waqt me.... Papa ka mujhe lekar ke nazariya hi badal chuka tha.
Infact wo to chahte the ke agar main Parakram SAF vapas na aana chahu to kahi aur bhi join kar sakti hu..... (Smiling but still in tears) Main bahot hi khush thi ye badlaav dekhkar. Maine apni Mumma ki military academy join karne ka faisla kiya aur uski preparations bhi shuru kar di thi.
(With a broad smile) Teen mahine beet chuke the aur main apne Papa ke sath bahot hi khush thi..... (With continuous tears) Mera birthday tha aur Papa apne haatho se mere liye cake banana chahte the. Aur isi reason ki vajah se Papa market gaye the, samaan laane but....
Monami suddenly stopped. Karan kissed her forehead and said....
Karan (Lovingly) - Par kya, Rani Sahiba???
Monami (Shivering a little) - Par us waqt achanak se ek blast hua tha. Ek aatankwaadi hamla hua tha aur us vajah se maine apne Papa ko....
And Monami started to cry bitterly. Karan hugged her tightly and started to caress her hair lovingly. He said....
Karan (With some tears) - I'm sorry, Monami. I'm so sorry.
Monami nodded and said...
Monami (With anger in her eyes) - Aur isiliye maine ye decide kiya ke main Police Force ke ATS ko join karugi ke jiska zimma, desh ke andar aatankwaadi humlo ko rokna hai aur agar ho to usse logo ko protect karna hai.
Kyuki is attack ke pichhe internal failure dikhaya gaya tha, isliye maine ye taiy kar liya tha ke main ab isi internal security ko join karugi taaki kisi ko aaiyda se kisi apne ko khona na pade.
Karan (Proudly) - And I'm really very proud of you for that. Shayad tumhara us jagah hona zyada zaroori tha, jis jagah tum aaj ho.
Monami nodded her head in agreement and hugged him tightly. Her head was on his chest. He hugged her and started to caress her hair lovingly....
