16. KARAN & MONAMI

Monami dragged Karan with him to his room. Karan was continuously looking at her. He wanted to say something but he didn't know that what to say to her, how to start a conversation with her.

(We human beings are really complex people. Jab humare pass koi chiz hoti nahi hai to hum uske liye ladte hai aur jab vo mil jaye to use sambhal nahi pate. What do you guys think???)

They entered into Karan and Faizi's room. Monami made Karan sit on the bed in front of his closest and opened it.

She started to go through his cloths and also started to throw away some cloths that she didn't like at all. Karan saw that and came near her. He tried to stop her but no use.

Karan (Irritatedly) - Yeh aap kya kar rahi hai Rani Sahiba? Aap mere kapde bigad rahi hai aur room ko bhi ganda bana rahi hai.

Monami (With a teasing smile) - Ji nahi, Khadoosh Shergill ji. Main aapke ye jo faltu ki choice ke kapde hai na unhe bahar fek rahi hu.... Karan tumhari choice itni gandi kese ho gai, you need a new wardrobe.

Karan - Tum nahi thi na yaha Monami, to correct my bad choices.

There was a silence for a while and Karan cursed himself to ruin this light moments between them with his devdaas mood. He was going to say something but Monami spoke up...

Monami - Par ab main hu aur ab tumhari ye bekar si choice ka mujhe kuch karna padega varna mera mood kharab hote rahega aur tumhari band bajti rahegi us vajah se.

Karan got scared listening this and said...

Karan (A little scared) - Nahi nahi nahi.... Itni mushkil se to dosti hui hai vapas. Tumhe jo karna hai tum karo. Main follow karuga.

Monami - Good. To fir is picnic se vapas aane ke baad hum dono shopping pe ja rahe hai. Tumhare kapdo ke sath sath main apne kuch kapde bhi kharid lungi.

Karan (Making a face) - Okey meri maa. Aapko jo karna hai karie Rani Sahiba aur main aapka gulaam, aapka har hukum manunga.

Monami (Looking at him suspiciously) - Tumhare sur kyu badal gaye hai achanak se Karan??? Aaj tak tumse, tumhari marzi ke khilaf koi kuch nahi karva paya, sivay Saumya ke. What's going on?

Karan - Aaj bhi koi kuch nahi karva sakta mujhse meri marzi ke khilaaf. Bas tumhari baatein manna chahta hu, isliye tumhari baaton me, haa me haa mila raha hu varna to aap mujhe achi tarah se janti hai, kyu Rani Sahiba???

Listening this, Monami felt really nice and she laughed listening him talking like that. After some time she choose a black shirt for him and said...

Monami - Ye pehen lo, ye tumhari personality ko kafi suit karta hai. Aur haa, ye lining wale t-shirts mat pehenna, bahot gande dikhte ho.

And Karan started to change his t-shirt there itself, in front of Monami. Seeing this, she shouted...

Monami (Closing her eyes) - What are you doing???

Karan saw her and said...

Karan - T-shirt change kar raha hu. Tumhine kaha na ke tumhe pasand nahi hai to vahi to kar raha hu..... Aur tum ase expressions kya de rahi ho ke tumne pehle kabhi mujhe shirtless nahi dekha???

Monami uncovered her eyes and came near him saying...

Monami - Pehle ki baat alag thi aur abhi ki baat alag hai. Pehle hum.....

And she stoped herself realising that Karan is indeed shirtless now and they are standing way too close to eachother. Karan started to come near Monami if that's even possible anymore. Monami started to go backwards because Karan was coming towards her.

In this forward - backward game, Monami hit the wall lightly. She didn't have any other way out so, she looked at Karan.

As for Karan, he just cornered her from both the sides and came to her level. Their faces were now in alignment.

Karan (Smirking) - You know Miss. Fighter, aapko mujhe challenge nahi karna chahiye.

Monami (A little stammering) - Kya.... mat... matlab???

Karan caught her by her waist and pulled her closer. He whispered near her left ear...

Karan - Tum janti ho na ke ye dosti to sirf bahana hai, asal me mujhe tumhe firse apna banana hai?

Monami looked at him and said in a stern voice...

Monami - Aur tumhe bhi pata hai ke uske liye mera tum par dobara bharosa karna zaroori hai..... Aur dost asi harkate nahi karte.

She indicated the littlest gape in between them. But Karan is Karan, he said....

Karan - Normal dost asa nahi karte lekin, hum to special dost hai na???

Monami - Kya matlab hai tumhara?

Monami still was in his arms but honestly none of them cared about that. It's as if, they were talking in their own world...

Karan - Hum to boyfriend - girlfriend banne ki process me hai na???.... Nahi, Miss Fighter???

Monami understood his meaning now. So, she pushed him playfully and said...

Monami - You are acting like a wolf you know.... Tum ye mat bhulna ke tumhe ab bhi mujhe manana hai aur vishwas dilana hai ke main tumpe bharosa kar sakti hu. Dosti ho gai hai to itna khush honeki koi zaroorat nahi hai.

Karan - Is that a challenge ACP Mahajan???

Monami - Whatever you want to think Special Agent Shergill...

And now wear your shirt fast or else agar koi aa gya aur usne tumhe ase dekh liya to galat samajh lega.

Karan started to wear his shirt and said...

Karan - Mujhe koi farak nahi padta ke log humare baare me kya sochte hai.... They can go to hell!!!

Monami - Par mujhe farak padta hai Karan. Hum is waqt us position me nahi hai ke jaha hum rumours ko afford kar sake. Aur tum ache se jante ho asa kyu hai?

Tum kabse emotional hokar sochne lag gaye. Be rational Karan, please.

Karan was going to say something but they heard a knock on his door. He has wore his shirt till now so, he opened the door and it was our very own Faizi baba...😜😜😜

Faizi - Ek shirt change karne me aapko itni der lagti hai Monami???.... I mean Karan???....

Monami blushed listening this and Karan was back in his Khadoosh avtaar listening this. He said, protecting his Rani Sahiba...

Karan - Ho gya tera? Ab bhaukna shuru kar ke tu yaha kya karne aaya hai?

Monami hit him on his back listening this and glared at him so, he corrected himself...

Karan - I mean...... Tu yaha kyu aaya hai? Kuch kam tha?

Faizi - Janaab agar aap bhul gaye ho to hum aapko yaad dila de ke ye room humara bhi hai... Kuch lena tha to aa gaye to ab agar aapki manzoori ho to hum apni watch le sakte hai Monami???..... I mean Karan???...

Monami - Main sabke pass ja rahi hu, tum dono aa jana.

Monami hurriedly left from there. Karan and Faizi laughed seeing her like this.😂
