From the moment we were young, we had always had a close bond. Inseparable you could call it, but like everyone else, we grew up.
After that day, we never saw each other again. Time went on and we both went our separate ways, but we were too young to remember. Memories faded and only the stories told by my mother about a close friend I had were what I remembered. Becoming the green ninja was never something I could have seen coming, but it took up all the time I had. I now had a new family and friends whom I would go above and beyond for, but I never forgot about the stories I was told.
(Due to the age jump making things convoluted, Lloyd and others his age have always been around the same age as the other ninja)

"Lloyd! Come on! We are going to be late!" shouted Jay from the bottom deck of the bounty.
"Coming!" he shouted. Maybe it was better if he wasn't alone in his thoughts.
The team headed to the museum because they were being given some sort of award for something. Honestly, they lost track, and Lloyd has avoided the museum since the last time he came here because of his encounter with Morro.
The team arrived and began talking with everyone before the ceremony began. They saw many familiar faces, and it was nice to settle down after all the chaos they had seen over the last few days. The commissioner then stood up from the podium and began to speak. He mentioned that they had a new statue being put up in the museum for the ninja, and it was nice to have a moment of peace.
Spoke too soon.
Just as the cover was removed from the statue, vines began to crawl up the sides of the statue and the walls. They began to grab the legs of individuals who were anxiously awaiting the cover to be dropped from the statue. Some people fled, while others remained caught by the vines surrounding their feet.
"Well, that moment of peace didn't last long!" shouted Jay as he attempted to pull the vines that trapped both of his legs.
"Where did these come from?" asked Cole.
"No idea, but they do not seem that they have any intention of stopping," said Zane.
Just as he spoke, the vines continued to wrap around the statue, pulling it down.
"Hey! We just got that!" said Kai angrily, as he struggled to get any limb of his body free from the vines.
The vines suddenly retracted from all the other individuals in the room beside the ninjas, and they fled. They even let go of Wu and Nya who retreated just to get their bearings on what was happening. As this happened, more vines wrapped around each of the ninjas until they were all unable to move or call for help. The vines shifted their focus to a side door of the museum, where a shadow figure now stood. They waved their hands, and more vines came around the statue on the ground and ripped it in half.
"Wow, someone's angry," said Jay, joking at the wrong time as usual.
"Not the time, Jay," Cole yelled at Jay, wishing he could free his arm to punch him right now.
The figure walked closer to the ninja while they still struggled to free themselves. They wore an outfit made from vines that covered them head to toe. Their face was covered, so no one could tell who this person was. They waved their arms and the vines followed, the ninja had never seen someone with this kind of power before.
"Who are you?" shouted Cole, eager to get the first word in.
"Your worst nightmare," the masked figure yelled back before tightening the vines around each of the ninjas.
