The team dashed to the ship's side, where the hole had now opened. The vine smashed into the ship's side so hard that it began to malfunction. Nya rushed to the wheel in an attempt to keep the bounty steady, but it was not easy. The rest of the team dashed to the ship's side to get a better look at what was going on. As they made their way over to the other side, a patch of ice was shot directly in front of them.

They had found Zane... or Zane had found them.

As they turned to see the ice patch, Zane appeared on the deck in the same manner as Cole. They knew Cole and the masked figure was close behind, so they needed to get Zane alone while they could. They all dispersed across the deck in an attempt to confuse him before he could attack.

"Grab him!" yelled Lloyd from across the bounty.

Kai charged across the ground from Zane's left and kicked out his leg. Jay then charged over from his right and punched him in the head, knocking him out completely.

"Nice shot," said Kai, moving up from his position.

Lloyd dashed over with the rope he'd snatched from beneath the bounty while they were busy. They restrained Zane, but they were concerned because they didn't understand why he was alone. They knew they didn't have much time, so they tried to elicit as much information from him as possible.

"Zane!!!!" said Jay, waving in his face to try to get some sort of response.

Zane remained slumped over in the chair, still knocked out from the punch Jay threw.

"Zane, wake up. It's us." Said Kai.

Still nothing.

Nya dashed down after landing the bounty in the nearby desert. She saw everything that was going on but was at a loss for words. She was also curious about Zane's appearance and why he was alone.

"Zane?" said Nya, approaching.

Jay charged up to Zane and began shaking him. Lloyd yanked Jay away because he realized that moving him was probably not the best idea. Just as Lloyd pulled Jay away from Zane, he shot up, staring straight ahead at the team. His eyes were glowing green, just like Cole's had when they last saw him. He didn't move and instead just stared straight ahead. Sensei Wu appeared behind the team but then also continued to look at Zane with the team.

"Do you know what to do, Sensei?" said Kai.

"I do not. I have not seen someone in a trace like this in a long time. We need more time, but at least he is awake" said Wu.

He spoke too soon.

Suddenly, the team heard a loud whistle in the distance. This whistle had been heard before; it was the masked figure. They all looked over their shoulders to see if they were there, but he or she was nowhere to be found. They all turned to look at Zane, but when they did, his head was now slumped over and his body went limp. His body had lost all signs of life, and he was now in a coma-like state.

The team waited for time to pass before untying Zane and checking his chest to see if a switch had accidentally turned off inside of him. Everything was still operational, but there was still no life in his body. They took him into their room and placed him on the bed to figure out what was wrong.

"The whistle is controlling them, but can it just turn their bodies off like that?" said Kai.

"I don't know, but we need to avoid this again. We cannot lose another one of us." Said Lloyd.

Lloyd knew this had to be done on purpose to scare them. He was subject to the whims of the masked figure who was tormenting him and his friends. This infuriated him. He disliked being walked on. He walked back to his room, unsure what to do, but knowing that he would see her again the next day he was bale to calm himself. She drew him together and made him forget about the agony he was experiencing. This made him happy.
